Nothing was wrong with taking good ideas and incorporating them. You should give credit where it was due though. I asked who it was that gave them the idea. It turned out that they had been in contact with a therapist. After all bad stuff that happened with 06-003, the Advocates did take up the idea for running clinics for mental health. It easily fit within their mission of helping humanity out with the coming transition brought by the intergalactic union of alien species that would soon be arriving. They had no clue what to do though. Cyborg mentality was way different from human psychology. They all reached out to several therapist and psychologists of various disciplines that were not openly robophobic and asked for some help. Only a handful actually responded. They specialized in ecotherapy, bibliotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and exposure therapy. Using all of what they learned from them, they were able to make a set of programs that could help people. It gave homeless units something to do. They made it free for veterans and active military.

Civilians had to pay a small fee of 10 credits a session. Major Idovelli had green lit the program with his preapproval. The ones set up in Wind Clan territory were already open and taking patients. Major Watts, when informed, gave his permission on the condition that there would be one human doctor running it. That was easy enough to do. Finding a willing med student and giving them their own practice right after passing the medical exam was simple. I knew that there were lots of people that were poor or glory hounds. How would they be able to pass the opportunity by? Especially in this economy being destroyed by our inflation of everything using all of our cheat money to buy everything. That led to several opening in Pierce Clan territory. Void Clan really only had the one settlement. Still, there were some back alley doctors that still had an active license. Of course, there was still massive amounts of corruption there in the settlement. We could do nothing about that since we had been expelled. I could not blame them for it. Major Watts really screwed up by trying to kill them all.

It was not needed and dumb. They were already willing to do whatever we wanted to work with us. Going over to Water Clan territory was not hard. We just spawned in a lot of buses for everyone to come along. When we made it there, it was indeed really beautiful. I got to meet with several soldiers and veterans that also were specially invited guests of the clan. It seemed that it was working out for them. There was a big policy where there could be no water on the premises. There was no disclosure on which of the staff were human and which were PEP units. It made sense. Some of them were really wary about being in close quarters with a cyborg. The military men had a bet going on which one was the human doctor. All of them seemed to be doing it in good fun. I could tell that it was working well. One of the Water Clan AEP units came up to me. "It's been a long time since you came here. I want to show you something. The petals look really pretty on the sand." he said as he took my hand. I had a willing tour guide now. There was no reason not to follow him. 05-001 led the way.
