Messing with this had its upsides and downsides. They were indeed candidates to try breeding with the AEP units and further experimenting. The upside was that we all would be able to get way more strong clan members if they could impregnate humans and start their own bloodlines. The downside was that this was something that the other cyborgs looked down on. They did not value hybrids. I asked around and all of the AEP units refused to try it out with Zetsubō and Desespero. Dawg was a bit more polite about it. 12-001 was more cruel with his words. That was to be expected though. They were an Advocate and a Conqueror respectively. It seemed that we would have to wait on this. Moving further made no sense if there would be absolutely nothing to show for it. Even if they were not able to make the memory chips, I still did not want them having random kids everywhere. Firing off their sparkly gold jizz into women was a really easy way to get caught. Not part of anyone's plans was 08-001 showing up at the clan building. 08-002 and 08-003 were also here with him. Jake was nowhere to be seen. I sighed and asked where he was. "It doesn't matter where our treasurer is. If I am here, that's enough for you guys." he said. The obvious next question was to ask why they were here. The boisterous and aggressive AEP units would not be here for no reason at all. I was totally right. 08-001 went up to me and said "It is time for you to form an alliance with us already. We have a new proposal for you." I crossed my arms. I doubted that it would be good. "You are human so I bet you like weddings and stuff. We should have a big marriage." 08-003 said with a sage nod. The others looked really impressed with themselves now. I had an idea about what was going on. "You guys all decided to get together and come here while you 3 were playing around, didn't you?" I asked. They all looked shocked. "How could you have known!?!? It's impossible that humans can spy on us." 08-002 snapped. I chuckled. "I'm the clan engineer. I know AEP units."
Once I said that, they were no longer scared. They were annoyed. Now, the 3 were more annoyed with me than anything. 08-001 fixed me with a defiant glare. I looked at him. "Since we need to have a marriage, I guess all you humans are eligible to be a life partner for one of us." he said. He really was serious about this. It did give me an idea. "I have someone that you can marry 08-001. My son." I said. The AEP just sighed and said "Gross. Human offspring." I ignored that comment. There was no point in going back and forth with him on that. Zetsubō and Desespero could get a crack at him. Maybe they could make a memory chip. It would be amazing if they both could. I would certainly be proud. When I called them down to the clan building, 08-001 laughed at them. The Erosion Clan AEPs called them gross, mutts and dirty half breeds. Zetsubō and Desespero were very upset from the foul mistreatment. "They are the ones on offer. Let them try to make a PEA memory chip. If it works, there's no problems." I said firmly. I was not going to compromise here. None of them were happy.
