Elevator music chimed softly as I went up. When I got to the top floor, the doors opened with a ding. There was a waiting room. Tables and chairs were there. All of them seemed to be set for a big lunch. Red and gray plaid tablecloth covered the metal tables. Red carpet covered the floor of the room. I had to get out of the elevator so it could go down. The others would not be able to come up if I kept it occupied. I left the room and saw that I was in the most barren hallway. At the end of the hallway was another room. I opened the wooden door and saw that there were 4 AEP units waiting in there. One pointed at me. "I remember you!" she said. It was the female I had released after capturing that group. The other 3 were sitting across from her. Seeing them, I left the room and closed the door behind me. I made sure to hold on the big doorknob to keep them from following me. They did not waste time in trying to open the door. I could hear the rattle on the other end as they tried to open it. The 4 of them all began screaming for me to let them through. I was not going to do that now.
One of them was actually smart. I was pushed back when one of the AEP units liquified and slipped under the door. It was like a flood of nanite paste. I could not stop it. I had to let go when the doorknob became too cold to hold onto anymore. They froze it to the point that holding it did damage to me. With that being the case, I ran down the hallway that I came from and quickly returned to the room with the elevator. I knew that they would soon try to chase me down. Barging into the room, I locked the door behind me as fast as I could. I saw a concerned Brett, Kyan, Hannah, Dawg and 13-001 were there. They looked surprised at my entrance. Before I could explain it to them, the wooden door was kicked down. All 4 of the AEP units came in the room and were very angry. "What did you guys do to our leader and treasurer?" one of the members of Cold Clan demanded. That was when a ding rang out and the elevator opened up. Major Watts was accompanied by both Rebecca and Parker. We were reunited once again. I said "This is a war. We killed them in combat. Surrender now."
