Knowing this, they got more bold and tried to charge the bridge while running full speed ahead. We held them off as best as we could. Several of them were shot and fell into the raging fluid below. That was good, but a couple broke through. They were the last 2 of the wave. Once we killed them, we would have a break. A female PEA jumped at Brett and the other male unit lunged at Major Watts and I. We were knocked down, but Major Watts was a total bad ass. He quickly rolled out the way with the impact. I was still sprawled out with my centauress body. I watched as the PEA unit tried to shoot him, but the major kicked the gun so the shots went wide. Major Watts then grabbed his wrists to disarm him. The PEA unit knew better and twisted out of the human's grasp. That did not stop him from pulling his own handgun and trying to shoot the cyborg in the face. The green haired menace just dropped low to avoid the shot and attempted to sweep the legs from under Major Watts. He jumped over the sweep and shot the PEA in their chest. One bullet was not enough to take him down.

Unfortunately for Major Watts, the PEA unit was able to pull and knife from under his sleeve and stab him in the chest. Unfortunately for the PEA unit, I was also there. It was not something he was expecting. I shot the cyborg in the back several times with my rifle. All the electric bullets short circuited him from the inside out. He fell to the ground. I then went over to the collapsed Major Watts. He was bleeding out. I grabbed him by the arm and laid my hands on him. A warm yellow glow could be seen. The color returned to his face. As a paladin, it was an innate ability I had to heal simply by touch. He gasped from the shock of the sensation. When he was alright, I helped him up to his feet. He looked at me quizzically. "That has got to be the weirdest thing to ever happen to me." he said. I raised an eyebrow as I gestured around us. I did not believe him. "Fighting in here isn't weird to you?" I asked him. He shook his head with a smirk. "No. This place is all part of this." he clarified. We looked over to Brett to see he was finished playing with his opponent. He had her in a crippler crossface.
