9 weeks were spent on a long awaited pivot back to one of the main questlines that we had been neglecting. The clergy members that we had rescued only had the one chapel on the road between Kelvin City and Dwan Town because we had wanted to get rid of them. We then decided it would be good to just help them out again to waste some time. Since we were good to travel in most of the eastern quadrant, it was easy to go around. We erected both churches and cathedrals in all the cities and towns that we could. That made the clergy really happy. They could spread out further now and actual get to the part where they could start preaching and evangelizing the religion of the Church of the Sky. Of the 18 missionaries, there were a mix of monks, paladins and lay militiamen. Due to the lack of clerics, several of them were granted cleric powers after praying for them. That was nice. We began moving them around so that they could take care of the new places of worship. The cathedrals got a humble 2 man crew as staff. The remaining churches got 1 member of the clergy.

We had 5 of each. We put a pair in Neo-Rutten, Volta City, Kelvin City, the dessert and Dwan Town. With our staffing scheme we had 3 militiamen left over. They all were going to stay in the first chapel for now. We had more than enough buildings for the faith. Now it was time for the members to grow the religion. I decided to be helpful and told some of the homeless PEP units about the churches. It would be a boon to them if they could get off the streets. Some members of the clergy were robophobic because of the battle on the beach. Others were more accepting. Since there was a schism here, I leaned really hard into it. The cyborgs were initiated and ordained by those that were accepting. At that point the robophobic members were forced to accept them. Especially if they became clerics or paladins. It was not like we had a full dungeon to send them to. Therefore the big initiation was just a 2 day seclusion period. They cyborgs were totally fine with sitting still with 2 days straight as long as they had a good charge. Once they downloaded the holy text, they could also preach it.
