Parker was actually really good. He followed the 2 Void Clan AEP units wherever they would go. Since this was their settlement, they had chores to complete. They had to go around and maintain broken things and help to keep the generator running. Another thing they needed to do was keep morale high by helping with everyone's minor problems and keeping them company. There were a lot of honest folk living in the settlement. Those men, women and children really enjoyed talking with the AEP units. Even the criminals sometimes got a kick out of joking with them or playing harmless pranks. It was like dealing with precocious children. Due to the atmosphere all of them were in, they were a lot more foul mouthed and edgy than what I assumed most would act like. Parker got to help them out by hanging around them. This also included making the rounds and chatting to people. Not only did he have powers from his 2 AEP organs, he was a musician that played cello. He was able to entertain all the adults by doing tricks and busking. For the children, they wanted them to pretend.

Children were pretty unpredictable. Playing pretend was a bit out of his wheelhouse as a cyborg. The Void Clan AEP units were just used to placating them all and then quickly moving on. Because Parker was a visitor, the kids all clung onto him. No one would be stepping in to get him to move along with his other chores. That meant that Parker was separated from them. It seemed that his selected task was failing. Now that Chase and Kyan were done, they joined Parker in playing pretend. I thought it was cute when the kids had the AEP units pretending to be cats with them. Others came around to see. To them, this was a bit demeaning. They were superior beings, but here they were. The 3 were pretending to be cats in order to please these human children. Eventually, the children's parents called them back. I approached them as they finally finished the act and told them that it was a nice thing to help out. They were a bit put off that I was watching them without bailing them out. "Sorry. It was too cute. I couldn't help it." I told them. "You owe us when we all get home." Parker said.
