Actually powering everything cost energy. A lot of energy. We were going to have to add some more generators to the existing bay as well first. All in all, it would take us about 3 weeks in-game to see the results. That was fine with all of us. We had lots of work to do. The clan members that were incubating the AEP units needed to get back to work singing, audio engineering and doing security. They were able to get right on that, so we had tons more music to release. Something that I did not expect was that the AEP unit boys wanted to join the music studio as musicians. Luckily, Claudette and Jessica were also in need of a debut. It made sense that we put them together. I was happy to work on the first few songs of the new Jazzy Gals and the Boy Band. The boys each had their own instruments and they all could play what was written for down for them on the supplied sheet music. They all had really great chemistry together. It made a lot of sense. Doing music would a great way for them to get a good look at the town and the humans. We wanted them to get acclimated to humans.
Claudette and Jessica had happily given birth to both Chase and Bryar respectively. The PEP units were enamored with their AEP units. It was like girls with puppies and kitties. They could do no wrong in their eyes. In the eyes of Paul, Brett and I, they were real derp machines. They had the emotional intelligence of children. It was not hard to trick or manipulate them at all. Obviously, they were stronger than anything else on the continent. That did not mean that they would not get themselves into real trouble if not managed by the PEP units in their clans. Hunter was a bit sour on them since they bullied him a lot. As an advanced cyborg race, they intrigued him to no end. He was not able to do much in the face of their absolute chaos though. We also banned him from tampering with the clan members. Bringing them upstairs was too risky. We had them record during the night after all the humans left the building. All of the audio engineers were PEP units. It was easy for us to do it. We got a few songs and released them after the full promotions went out. They had been written in advance.
Finally, the girls wanted to do something else. They did not want to do music like all of the boys. It was fine. Not every single PEP unit needed to be working in the music studio. They wanted to model and walk around town. We could make that happen. We had gotten them used to us. It was time for them to be brought up into the studio in the daytime. It was not a total disaster. They were aggressive to every human not in the clan. Behaving like that was not out of the norm for nasty celebrities. They all were being dicks, but none of them were trying to do violence against any of the human staff. I could deal with that. If the humans could not deal with that, they can quit. I would be able to replace most of them at their job. Only the creative work was needed for humans to do in here. I decided to open up a small department of the company devoted to modeling. I was able to hire a photographer. I watched the shoot. The girls seemed to behave well enough to get through the shoot without killing anyone. We got to choose their final ones. We would send those out to the local businesses in town.
