This made them extremely happy. All of them risked it all to get here. When they got to Dwan Town, they wanted to be taken into our clan. Even if they were only seen as grunts, that was a better standard of living than being on the streets where they would be exposed to the elements and enemies. 09111 took the orange jumper and was made the leader. He was the first one I met. 08982 was the vice leader as he was the lowest number. 09872 wore yellow as became their clan engineer. They were shitty models with terrible stats. They were now our vassals and allies though. If we needed them for some reason, we could call them in. I gave them the x-wombs. Brett was not as generous. They had established a clan and had a cover business to stay and operate out of. However, they did not have any money. There was no way that they would be able to build anything for a clan building. Rolling my eyes, I waited until we all made it back to Dwan Town. They needed a ride back to actually install their new upgrades. Brett gave them the van and walked back to the studio. I gave them all money.
It was enough to install a main hall for their actual clan building. I did this mercy for 2 reasons. The first was that it was a bit shitty to exile them so far out with no money and only the x-wombs and a gas station to show for it. All of them would never be able to raised the money for it otherwise. Unless a different PEP unit with a semen replicator came along, they would not be able to bear any PEA units either. It would simply be the 5 of them alone out there until the end of the game or until we called on them. The second reason was that it was about our prestige. We had a vassal clan that did as we said whenever we wanted. The least we could do was show that they had a little dignity. Building a main hall under the gas station would be nice. No one expected them to be able to make any X-frames. All of them hugged me tight for the kindness I had shown them. I smiled and said "I take care of my own. If you ever need help, don't hesitate to call me." They had to go in the library. Not only were they going to get their sexual upgrades installed, they needed the safehouse to send workers.
Safehouses provided refuge for the PEP units. They gave them fresh clothes and allowed them a safe place to charge up. Once a clan was formed, they could register it in the safehouse. It would then be logged in case of an attack. If that happened a mission would fire to protect them. If they had the money, they could also have their clan building main hall built by workers sent by the safehouse. It was from there that the clan engineer could automate and design the further layout and construction of a clan building. It was time for me to go. I still had my own duties to attend to as the clan engineer of Sixteenth Notes Clan. I walked to the terminal in the main hall and entered my credentials. I was going to have to add several new additions to the clan building. First off, there was going to have to be another sub-basement level. That meant we needed to extend the elevator shaft a bit. That lower level was where we were put the AEP and PEA labs. We would also have a garden for them. I decided to make this one a rocky garden. Each addition would take about 3 days to complete itself.
