Still reading, the Daot were an amphibious demonoid race that lived within forests and swamps. They developed from a tadpole into a large man-eating beast. Daot were omnivorous and could digest things for materials to their eggs. They were proficient hunters due to their versatile in water and land mobility. Really resilient bodies helped overcome their lesser strength compared to others. The Tac were a feline race of demonoids that lived in tribes all over the land of Gevaris. They were a very territorial and matriarchal society. The males were smaller than the females and largely submissive. The Ynnub were lagomorphic demonoids that were fanatic in their need to breed and reproduce. Due to their light bodies, they were extremely agile. They happened to be the weakest of the demonoids and were therefore a common source of food for the predatory demonoids. Their soft and malleable bone structure allowed for them to squeeze into really tight areas. They also formed tribes like the Tac, Daot and the Elitper. The Allirog and Elitper had advanced to villages. Ekans were nomadic.
Heavily populated towns were the domain of the Livod and the Orcam. They were also a descendant of the original human settlers. Mutated by crazy ichor they found, the Orcam grew to Amazonian proportions. They were the peak of endurance and very resilient to impact damage. They were known to live on average 50 years longer than normal humans and worshipped harvest gods. The Diulf were the main antagonists of the sub-world. They were the alien race that kidnapped the original humans in the first place. There were still some around who were survivors from the inital crash and scouts from the next wave that would be attacking during the midgame crisis. If one wanted, you could try to hunt them down. Their alien tech were great resources and usually the reward of difficult dungeons. The Diulfs themselves were considered bosses and were by far the hardest to kill. You obviously did not want to run into one unprepared while exploring the terrain. They were able to turn into a bio-liquid and a skilled Diulf could take over the body of an unsuspecting target. They were unisex.
I looked near to the end and saw where I would be stationed. It was right in the middle of 3 Ynnub tribes. One was brown, one white and the third was black. Most races on the sub-world were not fully sexually dimorphic aside from the Humans, Orcam and the Tac. Both males and females had eggsacs in order to breed and reproduce with others both in and outside their own race. Males had ovipositors instead of penises and females had vaginas. It was the only discernable difference between the 2 sexes. I looked at Lance Quaid and said "Okay. I'll be the Sage of this region." He smirked and said "Glad to hear it. Just step into the portal and you will be taken to your base of operations. I'll let you create your Protectors and get started right away." Epsilon and I went through and found ourselves in a stone tower. In the basement was a large mana pool. The top floor was an observation deck that allowed me to see what was going on in each of the villages. In the middle were rooms for relaxation and training for me, Epsilon and the Protectors. I now had to create all of them myself.
