They needed 3 levels in the class before they could choose their subclasses. That would not stop them from learning some basic martial arts and the prayers of the god they would be serving. When Hollin came to me for a deal, I agreed immediately. I made sure that the 5 soul fee went to the monks in training. That gave them 5 levels right away. The manual I got for them was a crude collection of depictions of the Way of the Open Hand. It came from a monk that had been expelled for some flavor of misconduct from a monastery somewhere up in the mountains. He then put them online to get back at them. Monks of the Way of the Open Hand are ultimate masters of martial arts combat, whether they were armed or unarmed. They learn techniques to push and trip their opponents, manipulate ki to heal damage to their bodies, and practice advanced meditation that can protect them from harm. Hollin had more deals with that new batch of cargo. We ran 4 more deals back to back. The 15 at the club got theirs. So did Voxex and Wesez. I took the remaining 3 for myself. Bralvan also came by.

He wanted an elemental for an auction coming up. I gave him a greater fire elemental. He was really happy with it. Once I gave it over to him, he called for the auction to take place at the club the next day. He was not their leader, but he had some sway. Watching the demons try to down fire resistance potions in order to fuck the greater fire elemental without burning to death was amusing. A couple of them did actually die. We were the ones that had to clean the corpses up. That was less amusing. I took those 5 souls to the temple. I wanted to check on Jason, Owen, Nyryd, Fyztar, Ezrinez, Ohmath and Lanartaran. They were all doing very well. All of them were in good health. In the time I was away, Ezrinez and Lanartaran welcomed their new offspring into the world. It was up to them to raise the children well. Bilios gave them their cleric powers, but made it clear it would be taken if they were to neglect their children. It was a bit of a chore for them. They did not need to eat or sleep, but their children did. They had to clean their messes too. Sarah and Rockelle helped them both with the kids.

Ohmath hit a jackpot. In the eternal war between demons and devils, there were bound to be conflicts. He found a dying female demon by the industrial part of the city. It was his lucky day. He brought her back to the temple and had the real clerics heal her up a little bit. Just enough to survive. He then impregnated her while she was still weakened. Being that she was the only one to make it from her group, she was able to make her report and further her cause. She had the offspring and dropped it off. It was clear she wanted nothing to do with it. Now that all of them were clerics. Eating their soul make them stronger. Much stronger than Jason and Owen. The incubi were miffed that neither brother would admit that they were inferior to fiends. The humans had pride. I could respect it. Boreneth, Praxel, Grulex, Felorin and Catnessa helped the cleric keep the place clean. They were monks by day and dancers at The Wreck by night. Voxex and Wesez were in the same boat. They were getting lots of opportunities to feed. And that was while they were competing with all of the older incubi still.
