Even now, I was scheming and planning for the future. The trains stopped running by the time we were done. That meant we had to stay the night in Robal City. As the healthy and plucky incubi we were, it was extremely easy to pass the time turning tricks on the streets. The air elemental looked on in disgust from a distance. We got on the first train in the morning. There were not as many people on the train as when we usually rode. That allowed the incubi to focus and relax on what was coming. When we returned, we saw Xavier was having breakfast at the bar counter. I wondered who made it for him. He looked happy to see us until he gave us a disgusted look. My incubi did get a bit too rowdy during the night. Luckily, no one caught us. They were disheveled and smelled heavily of cum. "We just came back from Robal City. We all had a great time over there. I registered the boys in the Adventurer's Guild since it was close by. I did not know that before. Do you still need to go up there?" I explained quickly. He looked at me and shook his head. "Nope. I applied for the guild online." he said.

Using the internet was anathema to the leaders of the Mage's Guild. Tech and magic rarely mixed. Interactions could also be easily tracked by the government. Most of the other guilds were fine with being open and above board. Therefore, you only needed to go in person for the Rouge's Gallery and Mage's Guild. We did not have any thieves or assassins among us, so we did not need to go there. Utterly humbled, I used the records to register all the others as adventurers. Now, all we had to do was wait. Either wizard and warlock hopefuls would come for training, or the guild would send us requests to respond to some problems. There were more deals to facilitate among the demons. Bralvan was there to pester me, but I ignored him. Getting more souls was always good. I ate all of them this time. I only ate one soul the last time. I did not need any of them trying to challenge me all of a sudden because they thought they could over take me. The researchers called me on my phone. They were just about ready to continue with the extraction. I told them I could swing by. I wanted to see it.

Taking the air elemental with me was an oversight. I had to keep him with me or Ororin would snatch him back. My whole reason for keeping him was that he would be a lot safer in my care. If I abandoned him to go hang out with the researchers, that would make it look like I was incompetent. I could not have that. Schemes against me would start to form. Turning to him as we arrived, I said "You are going to see something that you probably shouldn't. Don't make a fuss, or I will send you back to Ororin and Larry. You can kiss any hope of escape goodbye if that happens." He nodded his head in confusion. When we got down to the cells, the air elementals had a very touching reunion. Both of them got to share their horror stories. They were horrific. I did not even pretend to deny it. Soon after they had finished venting, the researchers came to get Gale. He was moved and taken to a room to be drained. All of their equipment was fitted with nice insulation to withstand double the voltage they would be running through the former leader. We stood there and watched it go down. My ward got ill.
