A museum trip no longer appealed to me. We went to a casino and we all gambled. We lost a ton of money, but it was fine. We had fun and we had actually spent 3 days going around gambling at all the games and talking to all the other patrons. We went to the guild and collected their memberships. The receptionist recognized me. "Hey you. I remember you coming bac and forth a few times. How's it going?" she said. I made some small talk with her. She asked if I was here to register a coven. I asked what that was. She explained that a coven is a community of 12 or more mages that live together and share both resources and techniques. That was certainly true of us at The Wreck. The perks of having a coven registered is that young trainees could come directly to us. They could join us as a member or just for the training period both parties agree to. The prestige of any mage would trickle to all members and the coven itself would gain prestige. If we were also registered with the Adventurer's Guild, they could contract our members out for their specific jobs that needed mages in our area.

Other than the exorbitant rate to register a coven, there were really no big downsides. I had my company credit card and used it to pay the fee. I then got my paperwork right away. It was much faster than the memberships in the branch. You got what you paid for, I guess. We were now know as the The Wrecked Coven. The name came from our strip club obviously. Since we were here, I asked her if there was an Adventurer's Guild branch here in Robal City. She nodded her head. "I'm surprised that you didn't know with how many times you've been here. It's only 4 blocks away. When you hit the street take a right for 2 blocks. Cross the street to the left at the corner and then go straight. You can't miss it." We followed her instructions and, sure enough, we made it. It was much grander than the Mages Guild branch. This must have been a major hub for adventurers. It took the rest of the day to be seen by anybody. There were than many people ahead of us. All 7 of us registered to be adventurers. The air elemental was surprised that I was spending money on him. I did not say anything on it.

Because this was a registration he had to have a name. I decided to write down Zephyr Freewind. The air elemental rose an eyebrow at me, but did not say anything. It was for the best. The guild was staffed with a ton of pencil pushers and bureaucrats. They only needed a single business day to give us our memberships. It told me that the people in the Mage's Guild branch were just lazy. I also registered our new coven with them. They took the paperwork and added some of their own. The registries were transferable due to the close working relationships of the guilds. Once they made sure that it was legitimate, they added a copy of it to their systems and give me the certificate for the Adventurer's Guild registry. The coven had 16 members and 6 of them were official adventurers. The air elemental was not a member of the coven, but he was now listed as an official member of the Adventurer's Guild. I did not tell him, but he was another step closer to his freedom. I received all of the documents myself. I did not let the others touch them. That was not odd. I did the same with the others.
