That was certainly true. I was not going to deny it. She had done over 10 artful assassinations for us all. That meant that she had fully earned being a made man. A nice made woman in her case. Romeo was by my side. He was my bodyguard, but he was also her lawful husband now. Luckily, he did not need to take a side between us. I was wondering why they looked so tense. I guessed that they thought that I would try to get out of promoting her for some reason. Romeo had not even been promoted yet. This was really big for them. Smiling, I said "Of course Bianca. I called you down for this reason. I see a ton of potential in you. I will gather everyone and initiate you as a made woman right away." They both gave me a look of relief. Romeo and Bianca were very happy. It was going to take a couple days to make sure everyone was there. Most of them lived in the hotel still. The amenities were way too good for the crew to want to need to leave and get their new apartment. We mostly needed to get their schedules to line up for an evening. I would need to host it at my house. That made it official.
Downtime was very few and far between for me. My weekly schedule was practically set. I went to La Familia. It was time to stay with Marco and Rocco. I was running a bit late. By the time that I got there, they were all getting ready for the dance lesson. That was all my fault. I was busy talking to the fixer. They said they would need more time. That was really annoying. Of course, they wanted some more money to continue their investigation on the lieutenant of the Yard district. "I'll wire it to you. Get it done soon, or I'm going to take it all back. One way or another." I said before fixing him with a hard stare. They nodded and got to work. Rolling my eyes, I left their office annoyed. I got there in time to see them warm up and stretch. Carlo, Marco and Rocco were pretty flexible. Bianca and Bella were there to spectate like always. "You're fucking late!" Bella hissed at me. "Hello to you too." I said with a smug nod. She simply hated my guts. "The boys were looking forward to going out with you." Bianca told me. That stung me deeply. "Yeah, I know. I will take them as soon as they get out practice." I said.
Marco and Rocco pouted at me. They were not forgiving me for missing their time together on missions. I looked at them and said "I'm sorry. I've got permission to go out with you now. Would you like to go on some jobs with me now? Or are you too tired and want to just stay here?" I asked. They practically dragged me out of the hotel. I had a few jobs we could do on my phone. Romeo drove us from location to location. It was not until Bella called to scream that dinner was getting cold that we had to go back. We got 7 jobs done. Because of the time limit, I went for all the easy jobs that required a 0-2 star doctor. Marco and Rocco were dutifully helping out. Once they hit the big 2 star threshold themselves, that was 40 missions. They started asking to try to reverse an overdose on their own. It was the perk for that rank. I looked for one on my phone. I also had the supplies for it, so we went for it. They were able to do it, working well together. It was a bit touch and go, but I did not need to intervene. That is when we were called home. We got there just in time to avoid a beating from Bella. Crazy lady.
