After the week at La Familia, Nicolò and I made our way home. He went to his own hotel and I went to my house. Daphne and Dante were both really happy to see me. I hugged them both. We were finally together again at long last. Something I was surprised about was that Agelo and Paolo were also there. Dante had made fast friends with them. It was all fine with me. Ronan and I were very close too. Cameron and Ruth visited La Familia to play with the boys sometimes as well. Ruth and Nadia were friends, so Luca and Rosario also got to interact with her. The children were the next generations of our families. It was important if they got along. If they wanted to pair up in marriage later on, that would be even greater. Rosario, Luca and Nadia were the Catano Family's fourth generation if they climbed the ranks. They came from the line of Asella, so Arminio and their older brother also had the ability to contribute to their fourth generation. Their children would be the fifth generation if they became made men. For everyone else, that would lead to a third generation. I wanted to see that happen.

Being made men was not that hard or far off for them. They did not need to go through the long and useless thug phase like everyone else aside for Asella and Arminio did. Both Nicolò and I were lieutenants now. We would gladly give them assignments that they wanted as long as it was not too dangerous. We had also been taking our kids out with us on side jobs as well. That would raise their profile when they came of age if they were already in the Blue Codex. Tommy, Ronan and Cameron were our influencers. Nicolò, Araldo and Bernardo were enforcers. I was a mob doctor. All of us had done enough to get entries in the Blue Codex. I was a 5 star mob doctor so my sheet was way longer than any of the others. It made sense since I had been in the Blue Codex from before we moved over to Askill Town. Everyone else only had a shitty 1 star rating. They would need to do more missions to get a higher rating. Dante had gone on 21 doctor calls before his injury. Carlo had been on 36. Both Marco and Rocco had 34 under their belts. I could only bring them on days that I actually was with them.

Knowing Bella and Bianca, they did not fully trust me with their safety. Whether the story of Dante's missing eye reached them was anyone's guess. Since I had 5 stars in the Blue Codex, I did not need to look for work. I was a sought after individual. There were tons of requests, even in Askill Town. That allowed me to take my pick. Since they were only kids, I had to take that into account. I did not want to traumatize them too badly with the injuries a person could receive in this kind of life. I also had one afternoon to work with them, so they were the really quick jobs. If time allowed for it, I would do multiple and simply drag the kids along. Because the blonds had over 20 missions, they were in the Blue Codex. At least they would be able to do that for the Diamond Butterflies when they grew fully. Dante was also in it, but I was not so cruel as to tell him that he should do the job that cost him his eye. That would be insanely insensitive of me. To be honest, I was not a 1 trick pony. I also had half a star as an enforcer. Obviously, no one would buy my services for that. That did not mean I could not teach it.
