Nicolò and I had to get a new car. Once we paid for it, we were on our way to Askill Town. I was driving, so we did not need to take any breaks. Since this was the perfect opportunity, I told Nicolò to hang out at La Familia for a week. He could extend his vacation and I could spend more time with Carlo, Marco and Rocco. Bella and Bianca would also be there. He agreed. When I got there, they were in the middle of a lesson. I usually was not there for them, so the kids were excited to show me what they could do. It seemed the dance instructor also had a son that was learning with them. He seemed to be trying to be friendly with Marco, but my son either did not notice or care. Bella was not going to encourage it. I would have to wait and see how the situation developed from here. Personally, I think it would be nice for them to have some friends that were not complete scumbags or useless degenerates like me and the others. Then again, it could get us in a lot of trouble later. Who knew what that type of person would say when they discovered they all had ties to the mafia? Some very direct ties too.
Cheering them on seemed to get a really good response. All 3 of them were pumped up and ready to show their full range of skills to their father. That was really cute for me to see. Since they were in their element, I was clearly able to watch them execute some really good moves. Even Bella and Bianca were pleased with all the boys' demonstrations. The week we spent at La Familia was great. I was living with Bianca and Carlo to avoid crowding the others too much. Obviously, they were only a floor away from us. It was not hard for us to intermingle with them during the day. That is what the 5 of them did anyway. The sisters liked to talk and gossip. Sometimes they would even cook a meal together for their children instead of ordering something up from the kitchen for dinner. Carlo, Marco and Rocco were all happy to have me there with them. Bella had already told them that they were bastard children and that I had Dante and Daphne back at home. That was inappropriate, but they were luckily too young to understand all of the many implications of that. They wanted to know more about Dante.
The whole reason I was keeping them separate was because I did not want to upset Daphne or make her feel any grief or shame from me having 2 mistresses and kids outside of our marriage. The same was true with Dante. It would be really bad if I told Carlo, Marco and Rocco something important and they used the information to find either of them later on. If I did that, I would be giving them a big advantage over Dante. Daphne probably would still stick with me because of Dante, but our very close relationship would essentially be over. Carlo, Marco and Rocco were all sad that I would not tell them anything. All I could do was pat them all on the head and ruffle their hair for a bit. Moving on from that, we played video games together. Luckily, we had some 4 player co-op games. Something that surprised me was that I sucked at all of them. In contrast, Carlo and Rocco were dominating. Marco was more on my skill level but, even then, he beat me more times than I beat him here. Since they were the winners, Carlo and Rocco got to sit in my lap for the rest of the day. Marco had to settle for Bella's.
