Blinking, Zoe looked around and saw that her wish had worked. The Goths that surrounded them were back to talking, dancing, and generally enjoying the loud metal music coming from the stage. They were no longer paying the three of them any attention. But, as it turned out, there was a reason for that.
Looking down at herself, Zoe was in shock. She didn't intend for this to happen, but apparently the stone granted her wish by making her into a Goth too! But not just her. Karyn and Sarah were changed the same way! That was why the Goths at the club weren't staring at them anymore. It's because they were Goths too! They were just part of the crowd now, no different than anyone else attending the club!
Not that Zoe would remember, but apparently the stone had used her friends from the previous reality (Zelda the cybergoth and Athena the witch) as templates for how to change Karyn and Sarah. Zoe had essentially become just like her original self (again, not that she would remember that), Karyn was now a cybergoth (but still with the wished up blond hair and larger boobs), and Sarah was now a witch, dressed similarly to Athena.
Zoe was panicking. Wishes couldn't be reversed. They could be stuck this way ... unless she figured out a clever way to reinterpret the wish she made.
