He dropped the heels and started to run again.
Kyla grabbed the shoes and hurried after him. Kyla quickly closed the distance between them, and grabbed Biff's arm. "Slow down...you dropped your shoes..." she said.
"Those aren't my shoes!" Biff said. "And I need to get out of here before...things get worse..."
Kyla frowned. There was something definitely off about Biff...but he was cute... "I'm just completely lost here...but..you shouldn't run around barefoot outside...you could step on something."
Biff paused. Kyla was the first person who had actually tried to help him. He was sort of reluctant to give that up. He stopped running and reluctantly put the heels on before starting to move forward...Kyla holding him...and a good thing because they were hard to walk in. As Biff walked, it seemed to get easier though, especially being supported by someone. By the end of the hallway they were in, he was doing it without thinking much about it.
He suddenly turned his head from left to right. The hall looked different, to the point he didn't know where he was going. He had to rely on Kyla to lead them. Before long, they were at one of the exits. "It was really nice meeting you," Kyla said. "How about...just in case you have another problem, you can text me?"
"Umm...sure..." Biff said.
"Have you got your phone?"
Biff reached into his shorts pocket, and discovered...he had none. He pushed open the door, and saw an unfamiliar street outside, but was determined to continue, feeling he was safer out there than in here. But was he?
