People saw me at the bar eating the slice of cheesecake. I did not want to get drunk. It did not make me really buzzed, but it did affected my vision. Things got blurry and the room began to spin. Since that was the case, I just avoided alcohol. Now that I finished eating, I was looking for another slice to eat. I saw the bartender was taking the orders of other patrons. I could wait. He was already terrified of me. I still did not know what this place was even called. A girl sat next to me. I turned to face her. Her black hair and gray eyes were striking. "Hey. I've never seen you here before." she said with a small smile. I smiled back. "Just came back from a long job. I stumbled in here in a haze." I said. I then raised my plate. "Luckily, I ate this cake and revived." She chuckled at my antics. We then began to talk. Her name was Daphne Kallidi. She was the second daughter of a miner. She also had both a younger and older brother. Both of them were in the mines with her father. Her older sister was an elementary teacher in their town. I shared some things about myself. I was new and came in with 4 friends.

Only after 10 minutes did the bartended come back to us. I asked for another slice of the cheesecake. Daphne also asked for one. She was going to eat with me. That was pretty cute. I asked the bartender what the name of the club was before he could leave us alone. The bartender really was scared of me. I guessed that was a good thing here. I had respect and people would think twice before fucking with me or our rackets in town. He looked at me and said "It's called Lazy Kitty." He then left us for real. I thought that it was as good a name as any other could be. Especially when you considered that it was run by a gang called the Glimmering Lions. Daphne and I talked for a bit more before the cake arrived. We were really vibing together. The singer had returned from their break. "Phoebe is just the best." she said. "Oh, is that her name?" I asked. She nodded her head. The cake arrived and we ate. I liked the taste. The music was great to relax with. "Phoebe got up after she finished eating. "It was nice to meet you. Will you be back?" she asked. "I will if you will." I said. I asked to walk her home.
She nodded and I got up. We left Lazy Kitty together. I was on the outside and she was on the inside. This was because I was being a gentleman. She lived in The Yard district. Her home was on the border with The Hills. There was a lot less smog, but a much longer commute to and from work. That was probably a good trade off in the long run. You would live a longer and better life. When I brought her to her house she thanked me for bringing her safely. Before she left, I grabbed her arm. She turned to me questioningly. "Hey. Do you mind if we can exchange numbers? We could also go out to other places together other than Lazy Kitty." I offered. Daphne smiled and nodded. I gave her my number and got hers in return. It looked like Lazy Kitty was going to be my primary hangout spot. It was in the Payday district. That meant it was close to the hotels. Daphne was a potential love interest. I had to read the menu to see how those actually worked. You had to meet the person, get their number and then go out with them. After 3 successful dates and a side mission, you could propose to them.
