I was currently in Gravitt City, Kale. This was a big city with 6 districts. I was a small player in the grand scheme of things. I was not anywhere near the levers of power. It made sense. I just joined. Especially since I was out as bisexual. None of them would ever want to be a subordinate of mine. That was fine. I had a plan. Because of my affiliation, I could see who had presence and control of each district and city. If there was more that one faction in dominance of a distance the city was gray. If a gang owned all of the districts, it would be in their color. If there was no faction presence, the section of map was clear. Most of the cities were gray or had a color. There were lots of clear areas though. There were where the small and big towns were. The cities and metropolis areas were all in contention. That was where all of the money was after all. I was going to go to a decently sized town. Cities had 6 territories. A metropolis had 10. Big towns had 4. Small towns only had 1 district. There was a big mining town in the countryside. I was going to move and get some big mafia rackets running there.
Askill Town was about a 3 day trip journey by car. There was no way I would be able to keep my brewery here in Gravitt City. I was going to need to promote someone to manage it for me. Once I left the city, they would then simply own it in the eyes of the Diamond Butterflies. That was fine for me. One of the rules I had agreed to was always to promote those of the same ethnicity. I could not give it to Kazbek and Bekkan like I wanted to. That was a real shame. They worked hard and were pretty cool in my opinion. I did have a couple of thugs working the outside for me as guards. They were brothers. Oscar and Ricario Gangemi were their names. Oscar was older, so it was easy for me to give him the manager position. The Gangemi brothers were both very happy about this. Kazbek and Bekkan looked a bit salty they were being over looked. There was nothing that I could do. I was not going to take them with me. If I did bring them, I would have allies in the town. On the other hand, they would not be able to promoted there either. I swore an oath. I could not break it. I was going to take people.
Oscar and Ricario
Bekkan wished me luck on my journey. I fist bumped him on the way out. I then went to the South End district. Ronan and Cameron were poor and needed help. I had a feeling that they could manage new brothels if I took them along with me. Because they were not of my ethnicity, they would not be able to advance in the family. That was a shame as they were pretty cool people. The most they could do would be to become my associates if I was given the position of lieutenant. It would require them to actually be willing to do things for the family. As whores in a 1 star brothel, it would be a marked improvement to their lives. I went to the brothel. Ronan and Cameron were both working at the time. Nicolò was too. I told him my plan. He looked really skeptical about it. "C'mon Nicolò! We can really run it up there. With you 3, we will run up the board when it comes to brothel rackets." "It won't work. You have to be in the city to make it big!" he argued. I just looked at him and leaned into whisper. You are a thug in a shitty gay brothel. You can't make it here! Come with me, Nicolò. You'll own one!"
