Xavier Watkins returned to The Wreck to speak to Marantyz. Marantyz was certainly happy to see him again. "Good timing. We open at 4 and I really hate copying spells in the grimoires." I smirked and said "You'll all thank me when you guys become great mages and go off to form your own harems." The incubus just rolled his eyes. "But they are all so tedious to write in and you have to do them perfectly or they just won't take to the damn page. It's so frustrating, Xav!" he complained to the human. There was a wry smile on Xavier's face. "Marantyz. I have been training on my own for a bit and I have some questions." he said once he gained his composure. Marantyz sighed and said "I would give you some good pointers and extra arcane power, but we are just so very busy right now." he said. Xavier looked at him and sighed. "Would you like me to help you with your task?" he offered to his supposed master. The incubus nodded with a bright smile. "I thought that you would never ask, Xav!" he said. It was clear this was a ploy. However, as his master, Marantyz had every right to ask for tasks.

That meant that Xavier was stuck helping the incubus by transcribing spells into the grimoire for him for the day. His experiences being in his mother's presence allowed him to know how best to transcribe. Both Marantyz and I took some notes. In Xavier's study of the occult lore, he had unearthed some eldritch invocations. Those were fragments of forbidden knowledge that imbued warlocks with an abiding magical ability. He was not yet at the 2nd level of the class yet. He was still trying to get through the first level. He would gain two eldritch invocations of Xavier's choice. Marantyz actually was able to teach him burning hands and command. That was pretty cool in my opinion. Those were not warlock spells. Command was not even a wizard spell. It was just something that the incubus could do now as a patron. That satisfied Xavier and he left. It was fine for me. It was also time for us to open up for the day. We had a pretty great night. The patrons were all entertained. Calling over to Club Wrecked, we got in touch with Ororin and Vohrear. I wanted a report. Things were doing pretty well too.

Now that we had the location of their base, it was time to destroy it. Hollin was good, but he wanted to get his own guys on the mission. I argued that it would be a pretty advantageous thing for him if we did it. "It will take the heat off of you and we have a personal score to settle with them." Hollin smiled and allowed it as long as we got it done with in the week. I asked if there was a place to buy weapons and explosives. He directed me towards the human black market. I was able to buy lots of bombs. I took my full squad with me to complete this mission. Mazerrith was my slave. I could bring him along as well for free. They stashed their valuable stuff in an unassuming warehouse on the docks. We traveled over there in the Ethereal Plane. We did this in the daytime. We placed the bombs in the Material Plane while no one was looking at us. Both demons and unaware humans worked in the warehouse. We put them in the corners and in amongst the goods. After that we flew away. On the other end of the docks, we detonated their bombs. Everything inside it was destroyed. We left the docks.
