Mackenzie's program reinitialized just as the sun was beginning to rise on a new day in Lakeview She was leaning over her vanity, a makeup brush in her hand and midstroke applying a bit of blush to her face. She paused for just a moment before grinning and finishing her makeup, having already apparently applied her mascara and a bold red shade of lip stain. She looked down at herself, discovering she was wearing the same leather jacket, torn jeans and white crop top outfit she'd first demoed, including the necklaces, earrings and heeled ankle boots. She pouted a bit in the mirror, 'sorry, Josephine, but I'm going to make a little adjustment. After all, it's my first day and I want to make an impression.

She went into her spacious walk in closet, having to restrain herself from excitedly looking at all the clothes in there. It didn't take long to find what she was looking for, a tight pair of black leather pants that she knew would make her ass pop. The jeans were stylish, and she would definitely be wearing them in the future, but today she wanted to be bold. She shimmied out of her jeans, taking note of the baby blue boy shorts she was wearing under neath and delighting in the view of her own long slender legs; she didn't want to be narcissistic, but she'd never felt proud of her looks as Jon and the sensation was electric. Taking a moment she slightly pulled up her crop top to see if Taylor had gotten Josephine to add a suggestion Mackenzie had made and smiled widely when she saw the modeller had. It was a small tattoo of a black butterfly on the right side of her ribs, a bit below her breast; from the programmer's perspective it fit with the low-key wild and dangerous vibe they wanted Mackenzie to have, but for the girl herself it was more symbolic. As Jon she'd been a caterpillar, or in other words a worm crawling on the ground, and this little fluttering butterfly etched in ink signified her transformation into someone ready to fly.

She quickly shifted her top back into place, the bottom of the garment just covering her tattoo. Then it was time to slide into the leather pants, tightly encasing her legs before clasping the golden buckle. They weren't shiny, instead being a bit matte in tone, and they weren't latex tight, but they did really show off her new lower body. Not everyone could pull of this kind of outfit, but a trim girl like Mack could; all the new fashion knowledge bouncing around her brain included one underlying fact: while fashion affected your attractiveness, it was easy to paint a beautiful picture on a high quality canvas. In other words, when you were hot it was easier to style yourself to be even hotter, or as her mum liked to put it: "When you've got it, flaunt it."

The Aussie checked herself in the mirror one more time, adjusting her necklaces a bit so the ring and shark tooth were vertically aligned, before grabbing her messenger bag, which she used instead of a backpack and heading out of her room. The new Choi house was a beautiful modern three story home, with Mackenzie's room sitting on the second floor, her window looking out over the swimming pool and jacuzzi in the backyard. It wasn't a mansion like the McMillan house, the Chois were very successful but not McMillan rich, but it was much nicer than the old Gibson house. They were in one of the ritzier neighborhoods, the same gated community Tiffany Sanders, Lily Vanderfield, Rick Eddington and Jessica Davis lived, though of course she hadn't met any of them as Mackenzie yet. The yard was big, with the perfect lawn you only got from employing a professional service and it had all the amenities.

"Well aren't you a pretty sheila," her mum, Charlotte Choi said as she came into the kitchen. Charlotte was a beautiful woman, with an obvious athletic figure, C-cup breasts, a great smile, striking grey eyes, and slightly wavy brunette hair that came to her shoulders. Mackenzie had gotten her curves, perfect teeth, legs, bust size and athleticism form her mom, while her darker, nearly black hair, more almond brown eyes, and so on had come from her dad's side. Charlotte was 38, though due to staying in great shape she could have passed for five to ten years younger, a bit taller than her daughter, and also a snappy dresser herself, that day wearing a short red strapless dress with a black bow at the front and a charcoal grey blazer, shiny black 4 inch pumps pushing her up even higher. In short she was very photogenic, which was ideal for her second career as a sports anchor.

Mackenzie couldn't help herself, she rushed forward and nearly tackled her mum, who had been slicing fruit to make smoothies, into a hug. She had memories of growing up Charlotte's daughter, but this was her first real chance getting to show the affection she felt for the older woman. Charlotte gently ran her hand along her daughter's back, "everything alright, Kenzie?"

"Everything's great, just felt like hugging you. I love you mum," Mackenzie said while collecting herself and breaking the hug.

Charlotte chuckled, "I love you too, butterfly." Her expression grew a bit more serious, "I know it's a big adjustment for you, a new school, hell, a new country, but I want you to know I'm really proud of you for how mature you've been about the move. It means a lot how supportive you've been of this new opportunity for me." Charlotte had started at ESPN a week ago and was already a ratings hit, a minor irony considering the former identity of her daughter.

"Of course I wanna support you, mum" Mackenzie scoffed, "you're defo amazing."

"Well I'm glad you think so, though if my own daughter wasn't a fan I'd be in trouble," Lotte joked as she returned to preparing the food. "Now, I'm making us smoothies for brekky, any preferences?"
