Jon was still worried about what his wish had done and whether or not the new neighbors were a part of it. Paranoid about accidentally having another unintentional wish get made, he'd hidden the stone in an old pair of woolen socks, buried in the back corner of his closet. At least that way, he could get a handle on what 'something interesting was before anything else got added into the mix. He was fully prepared to go about the town, investigating for anything that might have changed when an overwhelming wave of tiredness came upon him. "Maybe I'll just take a little nap," he muttered to himself before collapsing onto his unmade bed.
He wasn't the only one affected by the wave of sleepiness, as it took all three of the Gibson children. Zoe drifted off almost mid phone conversation with Athena, and drifted off without even taking off her black platform boots, while, down in the living room, Mikey, who was watching cartoons, slipped into sleep himself. Unknown to all three of them, they had in fact fallen asleep at the same time as Stacey Riley, who had just gone down for her first nap in her new house next door.
