Lily Vanderfield couldn't say she knew Jon Gibson that well; they traveled in distinctly different social circles. Jon was a sort of dweebish average nobody, while Lily was the major challenger for Sarah McMillan's position at the top of the school's social hierarchy, and that was why she was attracted to the opportunity Jon presented. Lily was already a beautiful girl, with long glossy dark hair and inquisitive emerald eyes. She was the Veronica to Sarah's Betty, looks wise at least since both girls were from wealthy families making the metaphor brake down again there. However it was true the two were constant rivals; Sarah was head cheerleader, Lily was head of the prom committee. Sarah was dating the quarterback, Lily was making time with the captain of the lacrosse team and so on. Sarah's popularity was centered around the cheer team, while Lily's powerbase lay in the student government, which she ran as student council president.
Still, even if she was the biggest contender for the throne after Sarah, Lily knew in her heart that she still came up short compared to the blonde. She was incredibly self conscious of every perceived imperfection compared to the other girl, like her breasts a cup size smaller, or her nose a tad bigger than Sarah's button. Lily was by any standard a very lovely young woman, but she couldn't help but see where she came up short to her competition and that was where Jon came in. By imprinting on him, she'd perfect her own beauty and gain a new perfect ally in her quest for social dominance.
Finding out where Jon lived was surprisingly easy; his mother, Linda, was an assistant at Lily's father's law firm. A casual look through the employee files on her dad's computer gave her the address. From there she snuck out of the house and made her way over to the rougher side of town where Jon lived.
Getting into his room, the sleeping boy didn't look like much. "That's fine," she whispered to herself, "he won't look like that for long." She cuddled up to him, making sure to touch her hair to his skin and waited until he saw his hair lengthening and changing color at the root. Then she prepared to leave, but not before leaving a note for Jon to read when he awoke. She wanted her new sister to like and support her, so Lily was prepared to launch a charm offensive after she finished transforming, starting with an invitation to brunch where she'd explain things to the new girl.
"Sleep tight sis, tomorrow's a brand new day!"
