This time, it was a young black boy, which Jon immediately recognized from the new family portrait hanging in the upstairs hallway. Meaning that this was the boy that Mikey had turned into. Was his name even still Mikey?
Closing the door behind him, the tween boy walked past Jon, ogling him with a smirk, saying "Looking hot tonight, Jenny."
Jon just stood there motionless. What did he just say? And what was with that look? That's not how a young boy should look at people! Especially his own brother (or, uh, sister) ... though they weren't biologically related anymore. Was this because of the person Mikey switched with? Who could that even be? Already, Jon had figured that Mikey had changed (beyond becoming someone of a different race, of course), just because after Mikey spoke to him, they both didn't get dizzy spells, but things were already messed up as they were. Switching with Mikey would just make things more complicated.
He turned and headed into the kitchen, seeing the new Mikey ogling all three women (his mom, Alex, and Vicky) and even licking his lips. Whatever had happened to him, it looked like he was some kind of pervert now. Maybe even a voyeur? Feeling distressed over his change (after all, Mikey was normally a good kid ... he didn't deserve to become like this, any more than his dad and mom having an open marriage, his dad dating someone much younger than was socially acceptable and his mom dating a woman; not to mention his aunt becoming like Thea Woods, or himself becoming a transgender stripper!), Jon thought that maybe it was time to use the stone again. When he made that wish, he thought it would be interesting and fun. He never imagined that it would mess up his family so much. They were almost like strangers to him now. He himself was like a stranger.
No matter what, the effects of his wish would last for seven days - he couldn't put an end to it early, but he could make other wishes to make life a little better for those involved.
Jon headed towards the stairs, but paused when he heard the front door opening again. The last person to arrive should have been Zoe, the new Asian Zoe. And that's who it was.
This was when things really went off the rails.
