It was day one…

Day one of being a squirrel girl.

Anthony woke up with that same numb feeling… no longer in her normal body…. nothing felt ‘right’. What would she be normally doing? Checking the news, looking for new positions in stocks and trying to ‘win’ at the great Economic Race that was her life. She hated this… she absolutely hated it. How could that chemical even be allowed there!

“I won’t lose…” She said with determination. Though before doing the money race there was… a rather pressing need to answer the call of nature and it was best not to turn ‘that’ into a real race.

Naked except for her fur the squirrel-like creature tapered through her room, to the hallway and into the bathroom. She never felt quite so… isolated. She didn’t even have ‘herself’ for company any more.

In the bathroom she slid on the toilet, her feet now awkwardly raised up unable to touch the ground. Her back tail was pushing against the seat. It was all so awkward as she had to re-learn what should be a relatively simple task. Eventually she did it having already experienced the horror of it earlier in the hospital.

Life had to continue though… right?

Her life.

Anthony nodded quietly. The ‘plan’ was still in motion, and she was still in charge of it. She would get that loan from the bank and show that she was still quite capable of leading the company. She just needed to ‘dress’ right for the occasion. Though that was a lot easier said then done.

Still had her pride… and it would not let her just ‘give up’ when the prize was so close. If she was going to be trapped in the body of a squirrel girl she would at least become a damn rich squirrel and maybe even fund a cure.

Feeling better she tried to take a shower and immediately regretted it as her fur came out soaked and matted. She was like a near-drowned ferret escaping from some charging river. “Damn it- urgh-“ The water actually made her feel like she suddenly weighed twice as much. The water somewhat cold made her suddenly feel like she was naked as it fell flat against her skin, exposing the contours of her small breasts. She tried to dry herself with a towel, wincing a little at how sensitive her nipples were Her breasts were just so ‘barely’ there that even she didn’t think of them all that much. Towel drying didn’t seem to work… and she didn’t have a hair drier. She continued to drip and tried to persevere with the towel as her only hope… more fur getting transferred to the cloth.

“Stupid fur stupid body stupid tail-“ She cursed and cursed wondering what she was even doing. She slipped on her old bathrobe which… trailed behind her, given she was only half the size of it now.

Anthony glanced at the living room table where she had put the pamphlets and stuff from the hospital. In some despair she gave in and looked at one of the booklets regarding the general upkeep of fur.

‘Your Guide to the Furry world.’

“Someone, just kill me.” The squirrel girl pleaded to the universe as she read the title. It gave a warning not to do a full body shower without ‘assistance.’ “...Great.” The squirrel girl groaned. “So, what exactly was I supposed to do… brush?!”

Yep. A brush. That was all it offered. Anthony thew the pamphlet in the trash. There was another letter offering ‘group counselling’ for other transformed people… he guessed it was the usual lot- those who intentionally changed like John did… and those who ended up in unintentional contact with the fluid like herself. She vaguely recalled a ‘water gun’ shoot out which involved transformation of many people including kids- but on the plus side there has not been a ‘fatal’ shooting for years… Not when there was a water that would cause transformations that might make you ‘wish’ you were dead…

… like she felt right now.

Anthony didn’t want to go to any counselling. She was a self-made man- er- person. She could handle this herself. Brushing her teeth was a simple enough task at least even if she had to get a box to stand on and go over the sink.

“Clothes…”

She had ‘no clothes’ to work with except for the stuff she had gained from the hospital… no suit to wear… not even a tie? She grimaced at her situation staring at the huge closet with various suits that she couldn’t even go higher then the thighs for. “I… I’m so dead…”
