Karyn bent over on all fours then extended a hand out towards the table, inviting Dawn back out.
But the younger girl narrowed her eyes as she looked at her friend and cocked her head to the side. “Karyn…”
“Yeah?”
“I don’t think you’re wearing the right bra.”
Karyn’s face turned very slightly red as she looked down and realized how low her V-neck was hanging in her current position. “Since when did you know so much about bras?” Karyn asked in a friendly, but slightly accusational tone as she leaned back on her knees and covered her neckline with a hand.
Dawn had to think a moment. “I guess since a year ago when I started wearing them. I just wanted to learn everything about them. I mean, I started with just what Zoe told me, but it’s been a whole year, and I found this one lady on Tiktok, and…”
“Wait,” Karyn interrupted. “We’re not going to have this discussion sitting on the kitchen floor. Come on out.”
Dawn, any thoughts of Derek Jeter now forgotten, nodded her head and exited the shelter of the kitchen table. “We should go to Zoe’s room, she’s got a ton of stuff.”
Karyn narrowed her eyes. “Do you think Zoe will be okay with that?”
Dawn thought for a moment. “We can text her and ask.”
