On a day about 2 months after that, her first day as two people, Karyn went to meet Jon.
"Ahh, it's so nice to have beautiful twins for a best friend. Where's the other one of you?" Jon asked.
"She's, I'M, in the bathroom," Karyn answered. She didn't tell him what she was doing in the bathroom.
"Well, I'll wait for you," he said.
"Nah, let's just go," she replied.
"What? You don't want to be SEPARATED too far, right? Isn't that going to be weird? Also, according to my grandfather, the stone's influence is a few miles. What happens if the two of you get separated by more than that distance?"
"Oh, shit!" she said. "We need to test EXACTLY what the range of influence of the stone is, and do some experimentation to see what happens to the effects of wishes that have already happened. I need to know if it's dangerous to be separated by too far."
"That's true. We'll do that later. Or actually, we can find out much more easily by wishing for the knowledge rather than worrying about some complicated experiment to test for it," he suggested.
Karyn was quiet. They walked for a bit.
"Karyn?" Jon asked.
"Yeah?" she replied.
"Say something."
"Leave, me, leave me alone for, I mean, uh..." she was breathing heavily.
"Karyn, are you all right?" Jon said, terrified. She seemed to be out of it. "Karyn!"
Jon wrapped his arms around her, picked her up, surprising her with his strength, and carried her with surprising speed about 30 feet back in the direction of the school. He needed to get the two back in range, fast! She must have been right at the edge of it right now, and maybe it wasn't too late if he hurried. She was screaming in agony as he carried her.
Of course that wasn't the problem, and she wasn't screaming in agony. Jon embracing her and doing this exciting thing had totally set her off. Because you see, while she was walking and talking with him, the other her was still in the school lavatory playing with herself, and she was kind of close already. But the unexpected tactile interaction with Jon in that moment gave her the most exciting and potent orgasm she had ever experienced. "Wow. Yeah. I love you too Karyn. I think that would be great."
She grabbed him and kissed him. At the end of it, she said "wait here for a few minutes. I'm coming as fast as I can."
Jon stood by awkwardly, as she started breathing heavily, presumably because the other one of her was running. She shouldn't really need to breathe faster in this body since it wasn't using any more energy, but apparently there was a little bit of crossover after all and she couldn't COMPLETELY have her two bodies act independently.
Five minutes later, Jon had a Karyn in each arm, and they were all walking side by side. This was PRETTY nice, he had to admit.
"Let's ask your stone if there's a range limit though," she said.
"Oh yeah, let's not wait, it's better to find out sooner than later."
They asked the stone about the limitations on the stone's power, such as the limitations on its range. And they learned a surprising thing. It turned out that Jon's grandfather was wrong. The stone's limitations were only what the wisher believed them to be. His grandfather had gotten the idea in his head that its range was limited to a few miles, and so that was how it acted while he was using the stone. The grandfather had gotten the idea in his head that wishes could not be reversed as well, and so they couldn't be, while he was using the stone. And after reading that false information in the letter, Jon had believed it too. But in fact, it could easily undo wishes, it could literally do anything, all it required was for the wisher to believe that the rock COULD undo wishes, that its range was unlimited. To be fair, when they thought about it, that made more sense anyway. Why would it be limited in range to less distance than that of a run-of-the-mill cellphone, less distance than a photon of light traversed in the blink of an eye, if it was literally capable of doing ANYTHING inside that distance, of rewriting history for years and years and years? It should at least have a distance range of light-years if it could affect years of history.
"So now that we know this, you could completely go back to normal any time, Karyn."
"Yeah. That's a load off my mind."
More silence passed between them. "Hey Jon."
"Yeah?"
"Can I make a wish?"
"Sure. Now that we know there's no pressure. Actually that's kind of boring, there's no risk now." He handed Karyn-2 the stone.
"I wish that like me there were two, no wait, THREE Jons! And the two new ones would be girls, female versions of himself, and one of the girl-Jons would have big breasts like Karyn-1 and the other, smaller ones like Karyn-2!"
"What? Oh come on that's... wow. This is, hectic," a chorus of higher voices joined in with male-him as he spoke that.
Karyn-1, with her larger breasts that she knew Jon was more attracted to as a guy, immediately pinned down guy Jon, call him Jon-1, and started kissing him passionately, while Karyn-2 tackled Jon-2, the female him with smaller breasts.
"What about this one?" Jon-3 said, frustrated, not knowing what to do with herself. And her big bazongas. "Why did you make three of me!?"
Karyn-2 paused a moment to say "sorry about that babe. It was kind of a spur of the moment decision. I just wanted you to try both kinds of breasts too. I wanted to share this with you entirely. But that's stupid now that I think about it, why don't you just wish yourself back to two, no harm no foul."
"Oh no Karyn, your actions still have consequences." She picked up the wishing stone and said "I wish there was a third Karyn, this one a boy, and he'd look like what she'd look like if she had been born the boy version of herself."
Karyn-3 looked down at himself, at his strong hands, at the end of powerful arms, at his abdomen that was a wall of muscle. "Wha?" he said in a little bit of momentary confusion. But going from 2 to 3 was a lot less confusing than going from 1 to 2. How had Jon handled going from 1 to 3 so quickly, Karyn wondered briefly?
But not for long, because Jon-3 quickly put back the stone and aggressively kissed Karyn-3. "You're just going to have to suffer those consequences," Jon-3 said with a grin.
"Poor me," he said back, smiling. Karyn-3 kissed her back. He was feeling good as a guy, feeling a genuine attraction for Jon-3 that went well beyond her bi-curiosity. And in turn, those feelings spilled over into the female hers as well, making them each more attracted to the girl-Jons as well as themselves. "Oh, this is nice too."
The two of them in their six bodies barely managed to all squeeze together in Jon's bathtub.
