“The father is now displaying a lot more emotions, more typical of a teenager than an adult male. It should noted that he cited his age at 32, more than 10 years younger than his birth age” Ruby dictated into the recording on her tablet, “physically he is showing a decrease in height and more curvature in his figure. Awaiting patient 4, Karyn Black” she continued as she heard the basement door open and the sound of feet on the stairs.
“Hiya” Karyn beamed as she bounded down the stairs.
“Good morning Karyn” Ruby smiled back, amused at how energetic the young girl seems, “how are you today”
“I’m good” she replied.
“Good, now I’m going to need to check you for any changes. Are you ok to remove your clothes so I can see?” Ruby asked gently, “Are you happy to do that alone or would you like me to get someone to come down while we do that?” She added. Karyn shook her head.
“No it’s ok, I’m a big girl” she grinned as she haphazardly removed her T-shirt and dropped her shorts and underpants, leaving them pooled around her feet. Ruby quickly took stock of her changes. Aside from the sizeable breast she still spotted, albeit with tiny nipples now, her frame was devoid of any other curves. It made her look like a pre-pubescent child. She performed her walk around taking metal notes to record later.
“Ok, thanks you Karyn, if you get dressed then join me on the sofa. I want to ask a few question.”
“‘Kay!” Karyn replied cheerily as she pulled up her shorts. Within moments the two of we’re seated and Ruby had explained the question process.
“Ok, so when you’re ready… Name?”
“Karyn Amelia Black”
“Age”
“Uhh…15”
“Gender?”
“Huh?”
“Boy or Girl?”
“Oh! Girl”
“Ok thank you Karyn. Now can you tell me how you’ve been feeling about everything that’s happened?”
“Yeah, so I was really scared yesterday, but then I talked to Jon today and Jon made me feel a bit better about it” Karyn blurted.
“Scared how?”
“Well I was scared that I’m turning into a boy, and I don’t want to turn into a boy”
“That’s a completely normal fear Karyn” Ruby said softly, “I’m glad you managed to talk to Jon. How did he make you feel better?”
“We’ll…he told me he was scared to, then he gave me a big hug”
“Im happy to hear that helped. Was there anything you wanted to ask?” Ruby asked. Karyn shook her head.
“Ok then, could you ask Mikey to come down next. Tell him I’ll need to have a grown up come down with him for 5 minutes. Can you do that?” She continued.
“Yeah sure” Karyn grinned before leaping up and practically running up the stairs.
