During lunch, I saw that there were certain sign ups for different clubs and sports on the wall. It was still early in the school year. Everyone in the cafeteria was either sitting down eating and talking or going around to sign up for something. My curiosity was piqued and I went to check it out as well. They offered Math Club, Music Club, Chess Club, Improv Comedy Club, Cooking Club, Drama Club, Debate Club and Student Government. That was a real nice selection of activities. Since it was the Fall, the sports being offered to the students were Cross Country, Football, Soccer, Tennis, and Golf. I was always more of a sporty kid during my years in school, but I did like watching and performing Improv as well. The sports teams each had thirty slots on their rosters. The other clubs had about 15 slots each. That meant that most students were not involved in any after school activities. Just as I was approaching the sign up sheets for the sports teams, I saw three huge jocks come up and blocked me. I just looked at them in confusion. "Where do you think you're going!?" one said. I got it then.

These were bullies. And, from the looks of it, they were all alphas. One of them was blue eyed. The second one was white with brown hair and eyes. The one that started the heckling and was trying to intimidate me was a red haired boy. Each of them were 6'3 with hard pecs, athletic bodies and had thick powerful legs and arms. "I was just looking to see what sport I wanted to join." The redhead said "You should really think again about that. Join the dumb Debate or Drama Club. Guys like you are only good for talking. You wouldn't stand a chance." He was backed up by his two friends as they smirked at me. I just rolled my eyes and said "I'll be the judge of that." I tried to get around them, but they blocked me again. I frowned and said "Get out of my way please. I have every right to tryout for the teams I want." "There's no point. You can't compete with us. You couldn't even outdo a Beta and they can't go three minutes without passing out!" the white guy said and the others laughed. I just pinched the bridge of my nose. I was beginning to get very irritated. This world fucking sucked balls!

Looking at them, I sighed. "Fine. What do I have to do to get past you? You don't even know what one I'm going to pick. You can't be that intimidated." I said. That pissed all three of them off. They approached and looked like they were going to start a fight with me. I was not sure that I would be able to take all 3 of them with the stats this body currently had. There was no way I was going to back down to a bunch of NPCs though. I looked at them full on and they took the challenge for what it was. Before a punch could be thrown, a pair of students I recognized from class came up to me and dragged me away. A third stood by to save face for the group. "Sorry. He's the new kid. Can we please go easy on him. Just this once." he said. The redhead just glared at him. He flinched but did not run away. His smile was certainly strained to the limit. "You guys better teach him the rules then. We don't need him to get in trouble he can't handle." The boy defending me said "Thank you! Frank. Tyler. Mike. Have a great day!" He looked relieved at the reception. The jocks scoffed and went on their way.
