The start area was called "Winterspell High". When I spawned into the world, I checked the glossary in the menu. Winterspell Highschool was a private, co-ed school in a modern world. It was pretty interesting. The menu told me it was open to Alphas, Omegas and Betas. I was not really that into the ABO dynamic, but if that was the state of the world, I would make do with it. Regular humans were the residents of the world. The high school population itself was 44% female, 56% male, 13% upperclass, 12% poor and only 75% middle class. That meant that I was going to be in the extreme majority in the school. My uniform was a pair of purple, gray and white plaid pants and a purple polo shirt. As it was the first day of class, I had to report to the office to get my schedule. There were 21 students in my class. There were ten classes per grade. That meant that the school had 840 students. I was one of only 27 humans with hair that was not black, brown or blond. It was pretty cool to see all the generated students. There was more diversity here in my particular classroom than in my real life.
I was getting excited. My avatar was a junior. That made me an upperclassmen. I had not presented into my dynamic yet. None of my classmates did either. That usually took place in the senior year. However, there were some precocious students that could do it as soon as sophomore year. Each day had a homeroom, seven periods and an afterschool block. They were English Language Arts, Math, Science, History, Art, Reading and Gym/Health. It seemed okay. Apparently, during Health, they got everyone in the class together in the gym to do practice mating. It was to ensure that everyone knew what they were doing when their instincts came up. Until then it was just so the students could get a feel for things. We would not be having sex in public. What would happen was that everyone would be wearing a special spandex-like material. It was very thin and left nothing to the imagination. One would take the submissive position (doggy style), and the other would get behind them. The dominant student would begin humping the submissive. Apparently, Omegas and Alphas will react.
For gameplay mechanics, I could determine what I would do based on how well I did at both positions. I would be getting marks on both the dominant and submissive role. There was also a bit of a self-reinforcing system at play as well. The more you were dominant, the more you leaned to becoming Alpha. At that point, you would be more and more bothered by being in the submissive role. The same was true for the submissive role. I had to see what the perks were for each dynamic. That would probably sway what I would go for. I had to check the in-game encyclopedia. I knew that some settings using the trope were harsh, but this was pretty bad. Omegas could not drive, own property, or vote. They were essentially the wards of their alpha mate. Unmated omegas had no right to bodily integrity. If assaulted, it was seen as a property crime against their alpha parent. Obviously, I would not be a omega here. Apparently, other countries had other laws. Others were stricter and some were more liberal. When I was introduced to the class, they seemed excited. I was a transfer.
