Karen just continued. "I wish there was a new magic item here about the same size as the rock but not as powerful or dangerous, complete with a note like the one the rock came with.
There was a flash and Jon was gone. Karen gasped and looked down at the floor where there was a manila envelope in place of Jon. she picked it up and opened it in a bit of a panic. Inside she was a small ring with a pretty stone on it, and a note that read
"This is the Soul Ring. Inside of the stone is the soul of a teenage boy Jon Gibson. While he is trapped in the stone it will be as if he is sleep and wont be able be aware whats happening to the ring. If the ring is place on someone's finger then the soul of Jon will take over their body. While Jon controls their body they will be unaware and unable to remember anything that happens just like when Jon is in the ring. Once the ring is removed Jon is put back in the stone and the body goes back to normal just with a gap in their memory. Jon can not remove the ring from any body it is placed on."
"Oh no....." Karen said and then looked around noticing the room she was in looked like an office.... as if Jon never existed.
