Jon sat on the wall before school, waiting for Karyn. Fortunately, he didn't have long to wait before she showed up and joined him. "You aren't going to believe the night I had. Sarah showed up at my house."
"Sarah who?"
"Sarah McMillan. You know my sister Rachel...thanks to blond hair, she and Sarah's sister are best friends all of the sudden, and she dragged Sarah to my house."
"You're kidding. How does blond hair make someone have different friends?"
Karyn shrugged. "Damned if I know. Trying to figure out would probably drive us both crazy."
"So...what are we going to do?" He asked. "We said we'd try it for a week...but that was before your wish. Are you sure you don't want to try to find a loophole...if there is one?"
"I think we'd better think about it a little and not blurt anything out stupidly," Karyn said, still annoyed at herself.
They both sat there, thinking.
