Sarah McMillan was annoyed. "Do I have to?"
Her older sister, Danielle, looked at her. "We only have one car. Mom and Dad said I could use it, and you failed your driving test twice."
"That isn't my fault," Sarah said, defensively.
"So if you want a lift, you'll have to work around what I'm doing. Why don't you get one of your boyfriends to drive you around?"
"They aren't my boyfriends," Sarah said. "The freshmen who follow me around aren't old enough to drive. And I'm not getting into a car with a member of the football team."
Danielle shook her head. "Why you wanted to be a cheerleader..."
"It's a sport...no matter what people say," Sarah said, shrilly.
"Not according to the courts."
"I'm not your debate partner," Sarah said. "I'm not going to get into a fight with you just because you like to argue."
"Debate looked good on my college applications, and it's fun," Danielle said.
The truth was, Sarah and her sister had been over this many times. It wasn't really a fight. "Fine..."
