Because we were not allies, we were not obligated to defend them from attacks. However, we did not want the Advocates to be wiped out. There was still some time left over. I had Sunny and Lucy use the new X-frames to make a new hybrid heat and electric AEP unit for the clan. One AEP unit per each coalition member was sent over to the coalition headquarters in order to take everything to the Foundry near it together. This was not the one I sent our clanmates to. Theirs was in Erosion Clan territory apparently. That was for the best. None of our AEP units would be going with them. It was not just that we were not in Heat Clan. It was also because they all had some amount of disdain for us. We had lots of hybrids and humans in our clan. It did not make us feel good. Good thing we were already planning to undercut them. PBJ Clan would have the last laugh after all. We were still waiting for the new AEP units to be born after all. They would be the pilots of the second XX-frame we would make. We had all the time in the world to wait. No one was as close as us to the goal. We had funds.

When the AEP was born, Paul banned me and Brett from the AEP lab. He wanted to be the one to fuck around and determine its name and look. Neither of us were too happy to see the whole clan blocking the whole floor. We could not even make it down the hallway to see the rock garden. No matter what we said to them, they stood firm. Some members were more sympathetic to us than others. That did not stop them from stopping us. We decided to hang out on the top level. It really did not matter much to me. These were made just to pilot. When it was all said and done, we were finally able to see the new member of the clan. The 2 were dressed like mixed martial artists. Their electric organs allowed them to make an electric field within 5 yards. It was able to charge allies or shock enemies. That was good with me. Paul had decided to name him Fighter and Battler. They did look like they could fight. I called Connie and Peyton over. They were half siblings. They embraced each other. They also could both shoot fireballs out of their chests. They would be pretty powerful in combat.

Fighter
Battler

They were able to connect to the chairs in the AEP lab and download the blueprints they wanted. They closed their eyes to visualize it in their minds. As it downloaded, their bodies began to create it. Their nanites shifted and wiggled as the cyborgs' bodies constructed the cannons. Since it was the best to get, they understandably both got it. They elected for the same thing. A massive plasma cannon was centered on their stomachs. They also went for thigh blades and a pair of shotgun barrels on their upper backs, one above the other. This version had 15 incendiary rounds due to the upgrades from the research. Finally, they installed a handgun barrel in each of their butt cheeks. Paul, Brett and I looked at them. Robin got to them and told them how it saved our lives. "Robin told us that we need a discrete weapon for when we are not facing the enemy." Fighter explained to us. Battler agreed with that. That was as good a reason for choosing it as any other. The expert testimonial from an older and much more experienced unit definitely came in handy here. They were the most armed.
