Once they were all ready, a member from each transmission hub would go to the Foundry together as a group to make sure that it got done. Our base was going under very intense renovations to fit of them for personal use. It was a giant undertaking to fit 1 under the ground. To do so for 2 meant we needed more generators and much more space than we had for archwings. It was so big that it was technically out of the town limits. That became a bit of a problem for us. Due to the territorial concerns of the transmission hubs, 1 hangar was in Lightning Clan territory. It was an oversight on our part. That tipped them off to exactly what we were planning here. The clan sent out 07-001 and 002 to check it out. Since they were Advocates, we saw no problem with letting them see. They scolded us harshly, and they were very aggressive about it. When 07-002 asked to requisition them, Paul Brett and I asked if he was malfunctioning. "This is in our territory. You can't build here. We just want to use this hangar for missions when we finally need them." 07-001 said angrily. This was not good.

I asked "If you all want them so bad, what are you willing to pay for it? We can always build more hangars on our side of the border. If you guys want to use this, instead of blowing them up or something, that will cost you a bit more now." They offered a non aggression pact. That was a good start. Brett wrapped his shoulder around them and looked at us. He said "Can I talk to them in private? I think that I can work something out." I crossed my arms in disagreement. "If that something is cum, no thank you. Be serious. We can get something really cool." Paul said. I thought about it. "Give us some electric X-frames please. 2 male models at least." I said out loud. They had to commune with their hub. They did this by walking over to their side of the border and plugging into each other's chest port. After 10 minutes they accepted it. They would send a crew here to build something as an annex to their clan over it. It was expected that we would build a wall in-between their new hangars and ours. That was something that they were really serious about. We did. We found that they built windmills.

Windmills used the wind to spin turbines that generated electricity. Using their own infrastructure, they had an office that allowed them to control the output and send the power down the powerlines to their camp. There were still lots of monsters out there, but that would just spawn in more missions for their members to go clear them. It was a big win-win scenario for them as long as they were strong enough to take them out when they arrived. It solved one problem. However, it caused another 2 giant problems to spring up in its place. Those were Cold Clan and Pierce Clan. They had embargoed us against Void Clan. Taking in Lightning Clan was seen as an insult and cowardly run around. After investigating, they found the hangar. Even with a small annex they made in the windmill farm, it was way too far for them to guard 100% of the time. When the Conqueror clans found it, they were very pissed off. Now the Advocates had something to use to definitely beat them back. Pierce and Cold Clan complained. This put us in an uncomfortable position. Advocates were not in the coalition.

Even if we wanted to help them, there was nothing that we could do at this point. We had gotten the new X-frames already. The wall had already gone up as well. "They probably only have the general plans. I don't know if they are going to confederate or not, but you have the same blueprint. Just go build your own." I said. They glared at me. Neither of them had it. Wind Clan and Magnetic Clan hoarded it for themselves. I smiled. "Okay. I'll give you each one half of the 6 blueprints for a XX-frame. You can collaborate or just do your own research. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Will that smooth things over between us?" I apologized. They accepted it after making it clear that they were in the right and that it was our duty to do better. They even said "even though you're a lowly human." in their acceptance speeches. I was just shocked at the display. The general plans, the systems and neurooptics went to Cold Clan. The chassis as well as the cockpit and the power core went to Pierce Clan. It was worth a lot. They left relatively happy. I let Lightning Clan know they were discovered.
