Now, someone else had the wishing stone. Its new owner was none other than Erika Weber.
Erika, like several of the cheerleaders, wasn't quite the bitch Sarah was. Sarah could be deliberately cruel.
She sat in her room, looking at the box and the note. It had been delivered in the mail, but it appeared to have been dropped in a bucket of water. The delivery address was completely obscured, as well as the first few paragraphs of the letter inside. She wasn't even sure why the post office had even delivered it to her house.
She could read the explanation of what the stone was capable of and how it worked, and had tested it. But what to do now...
She thought about what she wanted. She was one of the most popular girls in school...although overshadowed by some of the other cheerleaders...Sarah, for example. Or Tiffany, and her sluttiness.
At home, she had her evil stepmother. She'd already tried to bring her mother back. But apparently, the stone had some limitation about raising the dead. She also had her toddler half-brother, and her father.
It made it hard to figure out where to start.
