"Mom, we're so glad you're okay," Mikey said, approaching. He was carrying what looked like a wand, and Gillian noticed and recognized what it was right away.
"Where did you get that from?" Gillian asked, pointing at it.
"I found it," he said.
"Give it here," Gillian said. "You don't know what it is."
"And you do?" Mikey challenged. "I'm not giving it up. I need to fix things."
Gillian tried to grab it from him. He dodged her, stepping back.
He reached over, trying to touch the wand to his mother to get the Goth persona out of her.
Stacy and Linda looked momentarily confused about what was going on, but after a moment, tried to help grab the wand in support of their friend.
