"Well, that was weird," Linda said, taking a seat next to her friends. She looked at Gillian. "You okay?"
The witchy Goth woman looked concerned. "You know how I'm sensitive to certain aspects of the occult?" Until today, it was actually her daughter who had that sensitivity.
"Yeah?"
"Well, I'm feeling something right now. I can't tell what's happening, but I know it's something odd and unnatural."
Stacy looked over and saw three people entering the coffee shop. "Hey, look who's here."
Linda turned to look, then groaned. "Great, it's my stupid kids. What are they doing here?" She was more concerned with the fact that they were here interrupting her time with her friends than the fact that they should be in school. Frankly, she didn't give a fuck whether they were in school or not. Just as long as they stayed out of her business.
"Mom, we're so glad you're okay," Mikey said, approaching. He was carrying what looked like a wand, and Gillian noticed and recognized what it was right away.
"Where did you get that from?" Gillian asked, pointing at it.
