"So," Mikey said. "Mom's a Goth...where do Goths hang out?"
Zoe shrugged. "I don't know...there's that Goth club, I guess. The mall...everyone hangs out at the mall. The occult bookstore. But it's a bit early for some of those." She paused. she hadn't realized she knew so many Goth hangouts. "Maybe that coffee house. It's probably the only Goth hangout open this time of morning."
"That's great thinking..." Mikey said. "Come on, Jon," he told the teenchild.
Jon followed.
Meanwhile, Karyn headed to school. She was still a teenager, and that was where they were expected to go. But she didn't have any opinion about it. She was just another drone. Oddly enough, in high school...no one seemed to notice.
Zelda and Athena arrived at school separately. They simply followed their class schedules. They barely talked to anyone except when spoken to. And they didn't talk to each other at all.
