"What the fuck do you mean you don't know us?" Linda snapped at the 20-year old barista woman at "The Witch's Brew". "We've only been coming here for half our fucking lives."
"S-sorry. I've never seen you here before," the barista said. And it was true. In the eleven months that she had worked here, she had never seen these three Goth women before. Although, they did bare a striking resemblance to three teenage Goths she knew - Zoe Gibson, Athena DeVries, and Zelda Whitefield. In fact, these three looked like adult versions of them. Strange, huh?
"Can you believe this girl?" Linda asked her friends Gillian and Stacy, who were equally as pissed off. She turned back and grabbed the arm of the barista. "Listen to me, you bitch ..." she began, but then paused when suddenly there was recognition on the woman's face.
"Linda, let go of me," she plead.
"Oh, so you know me now, huh?" Linda said.
"What are you talking about? Of course I know you. You've been coming in here ever since I started working here," the woman said. "So, you want your usuals?" she asked the three of them.
Linda, Gillian, and Stacy all gave each other confused looks. "Uh, yeah, sure," Gillian spoke up.
