Standing up, I said "If you want to blend in, you have to wear clothes. Males are allowed to go without shirts, but you can't." Jared asked why. "Humans have our nipples because they are mammals. Mothers can produce some milk to feed their young after they are born. That's why women cover them for modesty. You guys come from eggs, so you don't have them. People will eventually notice and see that you are not human." I explained. They looked at each other and realized it was much more complicated than they had initially thought. Jude said "It looks like the ceremonial tunics have covered us up modestly." It had transformed on their bodies into a slick 1 piece bikini. That was enough for Jethro, Joel and Jude. I looked them over and said "Yeah. You guys are fine as long as you stay along the shoreline. It's covering the genitals and where the nipples would be. Perfect swimwear." The ones left out were Jared, Jesse and Jeremy. "Since you three are good, you can follow me, we can bring some clothes for the others to wear. You guys just wait here until we get back." I said.
We made our way out the cave and back to the beach where I started. It was the middle of the night and I made sure to stay near the walls. I did not want to tempt fate. I was a single slipup from being converted. Once we were out, I scurried ahead to the sand. They followed me and we got to the boardwalk after some walking. As we were walking, we found some young men. There were 4 of them. They were walking at a staggered pace and cheering. I got in front of them and asked what was going on. They smiled at us and one shoved the center of their attention towards us. That one said "Martin's sister just got married to a big shot from the city!" Martin rubbed the back of his head. His face was red from all the liquor he had drunk. "We're out celebrating! Nothing much." he said with an embarrassed smile. "Final call was... an hour ago?" a third one paused to think. They were wearing their nice shirts with loosened ties and jeans. They must have switched out the slacks and dress shoes after the ceremony before going on the bar crawl. "How about you guys come with us?" I offered.
They looked at us questioningly for a moment. "We have some booze to share. If you don't want too that's fine. The cave is where we are setting up, we just need more people to keep the girls from getting too lonely." I told the group. They were hooked. When men were drunk and horny, it was easy to convince them to do anything. "Oh! I got to go. Danielle is going to kill me." Martin said, looking at his watch. The others groaned out loud. Martin just said "You know how she is. I probably are going to get a beating just for staying out this long." He then turned and went the way he came. "Aww forget him! He has a good name going for him. Let's meet those girls!" one of his friends said. The others nodded. We led them back to the mouth of the cave. I stopped them. "I forgot to mention, but there is a little rule for the party. It's one of those parties. You have to wear a swimsuit like them or go in naked." I said gesturing to the mermen. They were silent this whole time. To sell it, I began getting undressed again. One of them gave a look of disgust. "Eww. I don't wanna see a naked guy." they said.
