It made the 3 of them frown. Jeremy asked me again, but I shook my head. "You are making me angry. Come already human, we're not going to hurt you. This little pool is way too shallow to drown you." "You are overestimating the strength of your human lungs. You can drown on a handful of water. You just have to not be able to clear it by coughing it up. You've been rough housing in the pool all this time. If you really wanted to, you could hold my head under the water. I am not coming over." Jeremy frowned even more. Joel and Jethro were a bit concerned. "Is it really that easy? You still can come over though. Joel and I owe you so much. We won't make it hurt. It will be over sooner if you don't fight the conversion." Jethro tried to convince me. That made me scoff. "There is no such thing a drowning that does not hurt. You can even try it out. Hold your breath for as long as you can. Until you are all forced to." The 3 looked at each other. After 7 minutes, they were gasping for breath. "My chest burns." Jeremy said wincing. "Imagine being pinned down against your will like that. It hurts."
Now that they had some inkling of my position, they were looking at me with a complex look. No doubt they were going to try something else. It was literally in their nature and their tribal traditions to convert humans. I was the only one here. It would make their jobs a bit easier. Jeremy crawled over to his trident. He stabbed to blunt end into the ground of the pool. He used it as leverage to drag his body upright. He was a bit wobbly, but he was now on his feet. Joel and Jethro began to do the same. I could not help but cheer for them. The were doing their best. They stood there for about an hour before they were brave enough to take a step. I went around them and got a trident for myself. It was the first weapon that I held in-game. I demonstrated how to use the tridents as canes. Using my strategy, they made their way out of the pool. They were air dried aside from their feet. As they were all naked, I could see that they had 8 inch dicks. Jared and Jesse only had 4 inches. I was 10 feet from the water. I was not going to make it easy on them to drown me. "We can wait here for the others."
Jared, Jesse and Jude took another hour to wake up. We were sat down on the ground and looking at them. They were not doing so well. Jesse saw me and beckoned me over. He kept trying, but I ignored him. Joel and Jethro watched them at my side. Jeremy got up from the ground and walked over. He had gained enough feeling and functions in his legs to do so. He had his trident and explained how to do it. I had taken Jared's trident for protection and I was not giving it back. That meant that he had to borrow Jeremy's. It took them an hour to learn how to stand on their feet. Then it took another half hour for them to walk assisted by the tridents. "Now what?" I asked them intently. The group looked at each other. "We have to look for humans to convert. 1 human for each of us is expected." Jared said. He was still the apparent leader for now. I nodded and said "Good luck." Jared looked at me for a moment in confusion. "Don't you want to come with us to our tribe?" he asked me. I shrugged. "I am a fisherman. Once I get a boat, I can travel the seas to your tribe. I don't need to be a merman.
