He then left. I used the dirty money to help pay for my motel room. I was now settled into Kapik City. I reached out to Aiden and The Bros. They were all around my age. I asked where they went to school. It turned out that there were 5 high schools in the city, but only 3 of them were a really big deal. One was a private school for the elite. I was not surprised that none of them went there. That one was called Exalted Gardener Academy. St. Shebrine was the name of the religious school. It was a place for the misfits and outcasts in society. It was all on the hush, but a good number of the student body were layers. Aiden was a junior. The third prominent school was simply named Kapik High. That was all the toughest delinquents seemed to be funneled to with the poorest residents if they could not get in anywhere else. The Bros were all sophomores. I was a junior in the real world. It looked like I was going to have to enroll in Kapik High School. I was not religious enough for the school and I certainly was not part of the elite just yet. I only just started the game. I could enroll myself using my phone.

The next day, I was out on the streets, ready for school. Going to school gave you exp. as well. I asked people on the street where I could find the academy. They just pointed it out to me, and I followed their instructions to the best of my ability. I was able to get there in under an in-game hour. I smoothed out my new clothes and held my form in my hands. A guard came up to me and saluted. I returned the salute before handing it to him. He looked at it before giving a terse nod. If he was annoyed, I could not see it on his face. "Follow me." he said. I followed him wordlessly. We walked to the school building. When we reached a classroom on the fourth floor, he knocked on the door and waited a moment. When the door opened, we walked in. I stood in front of the classroom. They all looked at me with interest. It was a class with thirty desks. Only one desk was empty. It was the second from the front and by the window. Half of the class were boys. There rest were girls. The class was a rainbow of hair and eyes. I guessed that I was no different with my purple locks. I introduced myself.

I also gave a salute. They returned it mockingly and I went to sit at my desk. The guard gave another salute that we returned before leaving. The teacher looked at me and said "You have arrived just in time for our math test. You have an hour to answer 100 questions." She administered the test to us, and we all got to work. As I looked at it, a mini game appeared. The test was just a series of double digit operations that flashed before me. It would get easier with a raise in my Intelligence stat. I finished just in time and was the last to be done. The teacher approached and asked if something was wrong. I submitted the test to her. She took it with a raised eyebrow. She went to the front of the room and ran it through a machine. It took a minute to be read. She looked at it with pleasant surprise. The teacher then handed it back to me. I got a 94% on the test. Since that was a full A on the test, I smiled and looked out the window next to me. Some of the other classes were in the gym doing sports. Others were running laps. When class ended, it was time for lunch. Lots of the students crowded me.

They congratulated me on my high score and asked to know more about me. As I asked around, I saw that this was an delinquent centric class and that bright students were not looked at highly. All except three of the students in the class were delinquents. Aside from me, there was a loner and a goth. One of them was named Patrick, a blue haired boy with blue eyes. The other was Quinn, the loner that had his head down. Most of the students left me in a mix of disappointment and disgust. They began intimidating Quinn into buying their lunch for them. I read enough manga and Webcomics to see what was going on. I got up and went with him. No one needed to be bullied. The Bros were not in our class, but I got to see them as Quinn bought the lunches for our classmates. I waved to them before returning with Quinn. After he passed out their food, I grabbed him and dragged him out of the classroom. Now that we were free, I could take Quinn to The Bros. He asked why I was doing it. I just said "Because I wanted to make a friend in the classroom." He really did not trust me at first.
