That was not good. "Where are they? We had an appointment." Brett said. The female cop said "The governor has been getting a lot of complaints. Lots of criminals and the PEP units have been let go from our jail." That would do it. "Once they got rounded up, they were taken to Neo-Rutten to be dissected and studied." she continued. I did not give a shit about Mandy or Nathan. I told him that he should be part of the clan. Erin and Finian were ours. I needed to get them back. "I guess we'll never see them. See you later." I said. I turned and began to leave. Robin and Brett came with me. Once we were outside, I said "We have to find out where they are being taken. I am not taking this lying down." Brett nodded. Robin said "I already know. 06-001 and 12-001 said that they were going to rescue a high priority unit from the facility they were traveling to. It has to be Chief Nathan." That was one of the problems solved for us. We had to hope that they came back. In fact, I looked at them. "I think that this is a big problem that we need all hands on deck for this. We should go over too." I told them.
Both of them agreed with me. We got a sedan spawned in and we got inside. Robin was in the driver's seat. Brett and I did not know where the facility was. It was on its on outside of a large metropolitan city. The large complex was already blaring an alarm. We were getting ready to save the day when we burst through the front toll gate, ignoring the hail of gunfire coming our way. I already knew the car was bullet proof. When we got to the front door, I saw a large group of large cabs. They were all shot to hell. The front door was blown off the hinges. I guessed they made it inside at least. We made our way there and pinned the sedan in the doorway. It would keep the others out. Now that we were in the building, we saw bodies all over the place. There were both android and human corpses. I said "We need to get everyone and get all of them out. Robin and I can go up. You can go down Brett." He nodded and left when we got to the stairwell. Robin and I went up. Apparently, there were 3 sub levels and 4 floors. On every floor, we did a big sweep. We did not find anyone on the first 3 floors.
On the top floor, we heard sounds of a gunfight. We rushed over and began to take out members of the facility. They were not focused on us at all until it was too late. As we gunned them down, there was only a bit of reporting about it. Once we got the stragglers in the hallway, we moved to the main office. Every so often, a very wounded human or android would pop out at us. We would still put them down. Tracie, Barbara, Peyton, Connie, Sterling and Ashley were there and using their armor plating. I did not see the others. Several massive androids were bearing down on them. Tons of corpses were on the ground. I saw that they were having trouble here. I used magic to destroy one of the 4 giant androids. That took a lot out of my mana pool. All of them were pretty beefy. Robin joined the others to take on the other 3. I took a breather before joining the fight again. It took a lot of running and jumping and shooting. Eventually, we got them down and I reached into my inventory. I found a health pack and told everyone to gather around. I activated it and let it heal them. They appreciated it greatly.
