Smiling, Alpha said "Looks like we'll be taking the credit when it's done, though." I looked at a miffed Lime. "Don't worry. I'm the clan engineer. I will vouch for you when it comes time to make stuff for the PEA units." I told him. It was then that we saw some of the others come down the hallway. Beta and Gamma decided to join. Since Lime could not join a party due to his age, I wanted 6 PEA units to go. Zeta agreed to come when I found him. That brought the total to 5 Brandon was also up for the mission once it was explained. That was now a full party. We then headed out to go do it. Lime served as a lookout and scout. I was the back up. The 6 got to work when Lime gave them the signal. From there it was pretty easy. They were great hackers, and I had a few spare ciphers laying around to make it an instant success for them. They got some credits sent their way. It was still the morning, so we went to the park next to let them get their batteries charged. We were sitting on the rim of the wishing fountain. We saw something weird. There was a new PEA unit jogging by. He then stopped.

That should not be possible. One all the PEA units in the area had to be brought here as the only other lab for them was in the Cold Clan clan building. Second, he had glowing tattoos that marked him as a deviant. Paul Brett and I were the only ones that would allow a deviant in their clan. I looked at the members of the group with me. I wanted to see their reactions first. It was a large range. They looked shocked, offended, angry and scared. I got up and stretched my arms out. "Stay calm! Everyone just chill out and stay calm! Don't worry about a thing. I'll figure this out!" I snapped at them. "You're the only one that's freaking out. We can all sense your elevated heart rate." Zeta said. I walked over to the deviant PEA unit. To make sure I did not startle him, I approached slowly. At some point, he did notice and turned to me fully. I just continued simply walking towards him. He narrowed his eyes in confusion. "Hello. You don't look like you're from around here." I said. He blinked and then frowned. He said "I was born here. Right here in Dwan Town." That made me confused. He was a full PEA.
If he was a hybrid, I could understand. Maybe a human mother gave birth at the local hospital or in private. Maybe a human father refused to let the mother bring the new baby in. But for both parents to be PEP units, something was wrong. I said "Huh? I've been here for a while. I own the cabs that you see zipping around town. Do your parents use them at all?" He shook his head. "No. My father is in a wheelchair. He can't use them. My mother is too busy in the house doing all the chores to use them much." he told me. I nodded my head. "I see. Maybe we should get some wheelchair friendly vans down at the depot." I replied. It was then that another similar looking person came running. This time it was a hybrid. His tattoos were a neon green and were all over his body. His hair was black, and his eyes were green. "You left me behind, Butt! Again!" he said before panting. He was also sweating a bit. I could tell that part of him was human. "Boy. You need to be able to keep up with me. What if there was an emergency? You can use your legs unlike Dad, so you have to use them here."
