Getting their tasks done was extremely important. We were a clan of cyborg invaders after all. They nodded and followed me back to the apartment buildings. There still were enough for them to each have their own apartment here. As they settled in, I went down to see what else was going on in the clan building. It did not take much time for something to happen. Colton approached me and demanded that I face him again. I sighed and told him that I would face him in the clan dojo. It was built for sparring. It might as we be used at a time like this. Colton was genuinely trying to kill me. To be fair, that was the only way he would have the slightest chance at winning against me. Murderous intent aside, it still was not enough to defeat me. I demolished him and said "You lose again." He banged his fist against the floor. "What am I still lacking here!?" he asked. I just looked at him. Colton banged his fists again on the softer portion of the floor due to the padding. Ava, Caleb and Cameron came in time to see him bang his fists. "What happened here?" Caleb asked. "He got beaten." Cameron said.

Ava laughed. Colton did not like that. "Stop laughing at me! Don't you think that it's weird that we can't beat up our officers in a fight even when they are just humans?" he demanded. Ava, Caleb and Cameron looked at me, seemingly considering that fact. "Brianne is just a very strong human." Caleb said. Cameron nodded, adding "Paul and Brett are really strong too." Ava crossed her arms. "What's the matter with that? They are our clan officers, and we are the AEP units that will one day bring about the new AEA units. When that happens, our progenitors will arrive. Why would we need to beat them up!?" All of them had a dreamy look on their face when they thought of the progenitors. I had no clue what they would look like. That would make itself clear to us in time. Preferably, we could steer things so only progenitors that liked humans could arrive on the continent. I decided that I was done with Colton. As I was walking out, I saw Lime. He was talking to Alpha and Epsilon. He looked upset. I went over and asked what was wrong. "I can't get clearance to go on any missions yet." he pouted.

He was apparently too young to join parties. That was unfortunate. I looked at him and said "Well, I'm human so I don't technically have access to missions either. I'm not bothered by it as a clan officer though. I just go on the scene when members ask me to come with them. If there are missions to be done, we can go do them, but I doubt either of us will get any credit for it." He shook his head. "I can't get clearance, but I can see all the missions in town available." While he was searching for ones to do, I turned to Alpha. "How's your energy level been. I hope you've been able to get enough sun." I said. He nodded and said "Yep! As full members, we go all over town. The access to sunlight is amazing." "I have also been seeing some nice PEP units around the town and talking to them as well." Epsilon added. I smiled at them and asked if they wanted to come along with us. "Oh! There's one to hack into some reprogrammer's house. Let's do that one." Alpha and Epsilon both nodded. "Since we're old enough, we can actually get the clearance for it." Epsilon said smugly. That was fine with me.
