This was not good. I did not expect other clans to come and try to get us. I thought that it was pretty out of the way. I frowned at them. They were pointing a large rocket launcher at our van. They were also pointing a whole lot of guns at us. If the van went up in flames, we would be stranded in enemy territory. All the clan members that could help were also on the mission. They would not be able to come get us for a very long time. We could all get slaughtered by then. I had to play my cards right and find a way out of here. "Whose territory, is it? This isn't Water Clan. We just wiped them out. Toxic Clan and Void have good non-aggression pacts with us. We allied with all of the Researchers and Advocates, so that doesn't leave many clans left unaccounted for." I said out loud. One of the AEP units scoffed and looked at his fellow AEPs for a moment. He smirked and said "Look at this. A human is talking all big. How do we deal with mouthy humans!?" The whole gathering answered in unison. "We break them!" was the cry they sent up. The leader walked up to me and punched me in the gut.
Doing that only proved that they were thugs. It made sense. There were all types of conquerors. When he saw I did not go down he grabbed me by the chin. "Playing all tough, huh? You don't need that. You already know how a true AEP units hits. I'd kill you." he said. "Who are you?" I asked him. He looked at me and said "I am 06-001. I don't give a single shit if you have a big clan. You're in Wind Clan territory. That means you belong to us now." I just rolled my eyes. He headbutt me. I hissed in pain. It made me see stars. "Fuck! Alright. What do you even want with us. If you let us get in the van, we'll drive off and you'll never see us again!" I snapped. He chuckled out loud. I was not getting good vibes from him. "And miss a chance at making you Researchers our bitch, hell no. You think we're all stupid? We all talk together. You guys are the real fighting power for those nerds. We take you guys out, and Water Clan is ours again. Everyone knows it. And not just that. You think Cold Clan can stop any of the Conquerors when you're gone? Hell no!" It was funny, so I laughed. He glared at me.
I looked at him and said "You are so fucking dumb. 05-001 and 10-001 got it in their heads they should take all the humans. I bullied them so bad they self-destructed in despair. Remember how they disappeared in Micropolis during that huge explosion. That was me, fucker! And we were still so pissed and petty that we then went after their hub over a year later. You guys talk so much, right? Go check and see how Water Clan is doing." 06-001 gave a sharp head tilt. The other 2 got to work. They plugged into each other's chest and began calling for them. After 5 minutes they looked over in fear. "Nothing. They're gone." one of them said. The other just nodded in total agreement. The PEA units began to back up. 06-001 was still grabbing me. "So what!? It took your whole clan to take them. I take you out here and beef up security at our hub. Your clan is fucked." he said angrily. I shrugged and said "If you want to bet your whole clan's existence on it, 06-001. You so much as displace a nanite of my clan members, and you're dead." I did not need to yell. What I said was the stone cold truth.
