Destruction

Now a chill ran down Jon's spine despite the warmth of the afternoon.
"What do you mean...'destroy'?" he asked cautiously.
"Well...not in all cases, to be fair," said Karyn. "But it does happen alot...more than any other single event in this universe."
"What?" Jon demanded. "What happens?"
"Why...you get turned into a girl, of course. Usually against your will. That's why they like having you to project their personalities on; their world's kind of bland; that sort of thing never happens there."
"But...why? Why would anyone want that?"
Karyn shrugged. "Some people are turned-on by that kind of thing."
Jon opened his mouth, but so shocked was he that no words came out.
"Speaking of," said Karyn, looking at her wristwatch, "I'm guessing that our narrator...and probably the audience...is getting tired of all of this build-up. So without any further ado..." she reached down and grabbed the wishing stone up off of the ground.
"What..." Jon stuttered. "You're going to turn me into a girl? Why?"
"Because," said Karyn, "as it turns out the narrator controls everything I say and do. And it's true the audience is getting restless..."
Jon made a mad lunge towards her, shouting "you're insane!"
"I wish Jon were paralyzed until I said otherwise!" Karyn snapped. Her friend fell into a crumpled heap upon the floor, looking up at her fearfully.
"I guess the narrator enjoys it when you try, unsuccessfully, to fight back." Karyn correctly noted. "Don't worry," she whispered in his ear. "You usally enjoy this by the end. I wish..."
