He could only keep his head bowed in shame. No one could speak up for him. It would only make things worse. "It is a major liability to allow someone back in when they could be an agent for the enemy." he said bluntly. "My loyalty to the clan burns in my heart as bright as ever! I swear it on my life!" Kazuya pleaded with Naruhito as he raised his head. Naomi had her eyes closed. "You must have something to show for this failure to be ameliorated. Do you have any information on what the Akaime Clan are planning or their secret jutsu?" he demanded. Kazuya placed a light brown tube in front of himself and bowed his head again. Humbly, he said "I know that my failure will follow me throughout my life. I accept any punishment or trial I must undergo to regain my honor. Before my capture, I was able to find a scroll detailing a secret jutsu. It is the Blood Clone jutsu. I took a picture of it with my camera." Where he store the camera on him, I did not want to know. I still had a good idea though. "Go. You will have our judgement tomorrow." Naruhito said imperiously. Kazuya bowed and left us.
Naruhito looked at us next. He wanted a full report on what had happened to both Haruka and Kazuya. The clan head then turned to his daughter. "Naomi. Why is it that your children are so damn incompetent?" he asked her plainly. Naomi was now in the hot seat. The other elders looked at her for an answer. "I-I'm not qu-quite sure what you mean, Father." she stammered. He just nodded and smiled for a moment. "I see. They got it from their mother." he said before his face became a mask of fury. "I mean to say why is it that they both got captured at the same time on espionage missions! That is our specialty. Even more than combat." the clan founder screamed at her. She could only sit and take it. Yukiya just smirked and said "Thank the gods above that we have brave retainers willing to look for them. Sister, you need to be more careful on who you assign on missions and for what purpose." Using his sister's failure to get ahead. It was scummy but affective. "Yukiya has some real gems. His 10th son Juro, only 12, passed the shinobi genin exam." Naruhito said with a genuine smile.
In a more reflective tone, he looked at us. "It seems clear to me that blood alone is not the only marker of a great ninja. Both of our retainers are nameless independent ninja. Not a single family member to rely on for help to get ahead." he said and let it hang in the air a moment. I was a Player with no family in the game. I literally appeared from nowhere. Keisuke was an orphan. As such, he was a prime candidate to raise to be a good ninja for their defense. It was true what he said. He then continued, saying "Yet they have been working hard to advance our will in this world. Therefore, I would like to reward Keisuke with adoption into the clan." We were both shocked. He must have been racking up missions whenever I was logged out. That sly dog! I thought he was behind. I was still happy for him. He looked at his children and siblings. "Are they any young women you know of in the clan suitable for him?" he asked. Yukiya and Mio were quiet. They did not have a daughter or want to give her away. Naruhito's sister spoke up. "Hayato has been fussing all about his 2nd sister."
There was a round of murmuring. "Yes. The Kirime offshoot. I guess it would be proper to put him there." Naruhito said. Keisuke bowed his head. "It would be an honor to join your noble clan. In whatever capacity." "Then let it be so. Reiko, go inform the girl. This meeting is over." Naruhito said before getting up. I bowed my head once again. When the elders were gone I raised my head. I noticed that Keisuke was still bowing with his fists balled up. I asked if he was okay. I looked at me and his face was red. "Nagisa! What am I going to do!?" he asked. I thought it was pretty funny he was having this reaction. "You're going to marry this girl and probably have lots of lovey dovey marriage sex. Probably a kid or two. Hell, Yukiya-sama has 10 sons!" I teased as I gently pat himself on the back. I did not think it possible, but his face got redder. "Nagisa!?" he whined. I realized that there actually was something here. "I'm sorry. A joke between friends is what I thought you'd need. What's wrong?" I asked him. He looked at me. "I'm an orphan without a name. How am I going to have a family!?"
