The remaining blood floated around him in the air. When we cut him, that blood turned black and did not rise. However, the blood in the air replaced it. When he got a hit on me, the blood left my body and floated in the air. This must be one of the so-called forbidden jutsu. His attacks went wild and missed more often as he was frenzied. I dodge a charge with a small dive roll. This was a problem but totally balanced. While he had an expanded pool of health, his accuracy was halved and it seemed that he was now blind. "We just have to attack from a distance! If he can't collect fresh blood, he'll run out and be vulnerable again." I directed. They nodded and backed up as well. Keisuke and I had lots of projectiles. We threw them at him and made lots of noise to distract him. Slowly, but surely, we drained the shed of blood. He was now vulnerable and unable to see. That was great for us. Terrible for him. "I will not allow myself to lose! For Akaime Clan!" he screamed as he did more hand signs. "Blood Clone Jutsu." he called out. A perfect copy of the elder appeared with half the health bar.
We were now fighting 2 of the elder. The clone only had half of the health the elder did, but he was still a powerful fighter. We had to take out the original first. He could always make more clones to fight for him. He was wheezing and stumbling on nothing now. He was exhausting tons of chakra and getting his ass kicked. He was a very weak target at the moment. It was now or never. I charged him and slit his throat with a kunai. It was not an instant death blow as we were now in combat. However, that did put him on critical health as he clutched his throat. Kazuya and Keisuke prevented the clone from getting in my way by bringing the fight to it. I grabbed the original and dragged him by the arm down to the ground. I the stabbed the final kunai I had right into the top of his skull. That was enough critical damage to kill him. Once he was dead the clone lost half of his health. There must have been blowback for the jutsu. It grunted. We were able to gang up on it then. Even with the Blood Recollection, it only worked half as well for the clone. We just overwhelmed him with lots of damage.
Kazuya was free and we had managed to not only kill an elder, but witness their secret jutsu. That was a massive blow to Akaime Clan and a huge boon to Kirume Clan now. It could change everything in terms of momentum. I was reall amped up after that bass fight too. We got out of there as soon as we could. Kazuya was a very important person and we made sure that not a single hair on his head was damaged while we were making our way to the village. Once we were there, Kazuya said "I need to change and produce the information that I got from my mission." We nodded. Our job was not done. We still had to report to Naomi. She did her best to hide it, but we could tell that having both of her children safe and sound put her at ease. The elders were summoned, and Naruhito presided over us all. Kazuya Keisuke and I were the center of attention. The founder was not too pleased to see us. He looked at his grandson. "You were captured by the Akaime Clan, but you've returned. Most clans of high status would discard such a failure." This was not looking good for here.
